He chases hard when he wants too, as I said I have defended him for the last 5 years and last night I cracked, he gave up , turned his back on play at times, walked around, Scarlett ran off him with ease, If he put in 4Q of effort he could be a great player but he doesn't and there lies the problem, he is happy staying in the F50 and trying to do as little as possible and kick some goals, he is becoming Yze jnr. All effort runnign with the ball, no effort when he does not have it.

I have stuck up for Sylvia for a long time after watching him as a junior and seeing how good he was, but tonight it stops, He was disgraceful int he first half and did not go when required, did not chase etc and I know a lot were in the same boat but it sickened me to see the number 12 that Viney wore and made great by sheer determination, guts and effort. He must be disappointed that some one like Sylvia is wearing that number, If the kid stay and is not traded which I now think he should be, he should be given the number 50 jumper until he shows a glimpse of caring and a willingness to push himself to be a AFL footballer, I think he stopped when he was drafted.

You can't have a team full of 23 year olds, keeping the likes of wheels, junior, green etc will be important to give the place some stability and some much needed hardness at the ball and the player, he is a player who leads by example in his attack on the ball and I hope the younger players watch him and follow in his footsteps.

I love the wrecker! I hope he can get his body right for the next 3 years and finish on a high.

If either get the captaincy I believe it would be a step backwards, Green has shown the best leadership at the club and should get it just above Mclean who I think will make an excellent captain.

The only real thing they will talk about Melbourne will be the salary cap issue that cropped up today. I'm sure a little mention will be said about the night but nothing major.

Yep Darcy has been helping out at the club, no coincidence in Jamar's rise in form. Darcy was an excellent ruckmen.

Yeah I find the stream hardly ever works. He said he would not chase the captaincy but would love it if the club and players thought he was the man for the job and was disappointed when not picked in the earlier leadership group but said he missed most of the pre season and with 13 new players at the club who he did not see a lot of, could understand why he did not get enough votes. Spoke about last night a little but nothing really that we did not already know, said the Gary Lyon comment was tongue in cheek, said whilst he understands people writing us off this friday night said the 8 goal margin he finds a bit insulting and thinks we will not get beaten by that much (could tell that this really irritated him a lot).
