  1. As the title says, how many? If its dry I reckon 12 Wet, 7-8
  2. Players coming into the AFL still need coaching on skills, why the hell do you think we have all those coaches? Do you think that every player that comes through the draft is as good as they will be? They just need to learn the game plan?
  3. One of the thing a lot have been saying is he ever talks about winning a game. So finally he decides to talk about trying to get a win.
  4. All those things are the coaches job!!! If Neeld can't get his team to play a game style after 18 months then he has failed. If Neeld can't train the players to hit a target then he has failed. If Neeld can't get the players to run to the correct spots then he has failed. The players do need to get it right, but the coach has to implement it and if they players are not doing what the coach wants then the coach has failed to either sell the game plan, have a good game plan or make them be able to play to his style. If Welsh can get them to play a game style you say is the Melbourne game plan then FFS get him in the coaches box on Sunday and let him coach. (Tbh I don't think the Casey game plan is the Melbourne game plan, I reckon it is the Casey game plan that Melbourne players can learn say enough and fit in nicely, yet those same players come up to AFL and are all at sea with a game plan that supposedly exists)
  5. We don't deserve a pick, we tank and were stupid enough to have meetings about it and jokes and got caught. We are the outcome of a lo of dumb decisions over a long time.
  6. How can we argue that the game plan is working? I can see anything that resembles a game plan! Each quarter, hell, every 15 minutes we play differently (other than butchering the ball all game). Even when we were crap under Bailey you could see a semblance of what he was trying to build. The only hing I see under Neeld is terrible disposal, inability to hit targets, no one spreading and running to spaces, the opposition waltzing the ball from kick outs, us turning the ball over from kick outs. Ineffective pressure. So please enlighten me to this game play you speak of.
  7. After the last couple of days I've had I really needed that! Post of the month!!!!!
  8. The only whipping our club will do is if they visit a bondage club.
  9. The reality is no matter how we look at training Hawthorn are going to [censored] us by a epic margin.
  10. Rangey, stuie, Satyricon, biffen, WYL, Ben hiur and rhino. Man those meetings would be a blast
  11. Trollolololololololololololololololololol
  12. Depends on the coach and if he is strong enough to deal with a potential problematic player.
  13. Difference is, if he walks they have a dozen others and more picks to come. If one of our better players walk it puts us back more than I would them.
  14. Roos the dream, Williams more likely the reality.
  15. 15 years ago I would have said yes.
  16. I really don't think the club sent him to war. And if the club said he couldn't go, do you think that would have stopped him? I don't.
  17. I'm sorry but Neeld did not make him drink or put a machete in his hand. The club thought they were doing the right thing by allowing him to go home when he really wanted too.
  18. We do, but 7 years into a rebuild it starts to wear thin. That and when you go to the games and spend 5 hours of your time and $50 of your money and see what is dished up by the players and coaches, why should we? Oh we support the club, which means we hurt, do the players and the coaches? No as much as us me thinks. I watch all the games, go to all the home games except where family gets in the way. I've stuck through a lot of thin and arched this club implode time and time again. No matter what new topping they are sprinkling on top it's still a steaming pile of shite.
  19. Well if we pay Neeld out then it will balloon out quite a bit.
  20. Never said I wasn't going, just don't want to. I've already organised a lift in, did it last night. Just not looking forward to gettin flogged and putting up with shite on the field and shite in the stands
  21. I've not posted before in this topic, but Robbo and Gerard just said they spoke off air a few weeks ago about a rumour they had heard independently to each other that Neeld had 3 weeks (being the end of the Hawks match) but they did not go to air with it. Tonight Gerard Healy said something similar to this on his radio show but it now seems the next two games determine his fate, if we get belted in both with no effort, come the bye, Neeld will be gone.
  22. I'll go to every game if you never posted on this site again Satyricon.
  23. Same, I use to go every week, now I struggle to find the enthusiasm to go to home games I've technically already paid for.
  24. Look at Freo, they get a competent coach and the players respond last year and run and spread, attack and defend. We do none of the above, the players don't run from their opponents as they know the ball will sail back over their heads to their opponents, the mids are always outnumbered and get beaten at the contest constantly, or they get the ball and get smashed. The forwards either don't get the ball down there or if they do they get it kicked on their heads. All these things should be either coached into them or out of them. After 18 months a lot of the players who have been there for all of Neelds tenure still make the same mistakes. He can't get his message across, wether this is the players fault really is irrelevant because its his job to get them to play good footy, he has failed so far and does not show any sign of doing any better anytime soon. Would another coach do better? If it was a respected coach, ie Roos etc I reckon they would get a better output.
