I think the work rate and off the ball work Dawes does gets forgotten. I always thought that was his greatest help to Cloke and will be to Hogan. His aggression at the ball and tackles also helps. He would be in the side ever day of the week over Pederson or Fitzy. If Gawn ever gets it together I think he will be the biggest threat to Dawes place in the side.
