He still gets the ball runs and bounces and has no idea what's around him or what he will do with it. That is why he nearly gets caught often, occasionally does and runs himself into trouble. But his defending is first class.

What I thought was a point that was well made last night was when Whateley said "by the standards the AFL tribunal set, Armstrong would not have been suspended and WADA don't appeal losing cases" Now I remember him being in the not enough evidence camp last year. Big turn around.

Loved it when Hird was saying "not guilty" and Whateley was saying, "no, that was not even considered" Hird actually thought they were cleared of not guilty of taking drugs.

Brady cops four weeks, Pats $1mil and lose first pick next year and fourth round the year after.

Wasn't there a TV interview where dank says he gave them TB4 and when told it was illegal denied it and said thymodulin? Wouldn't that plus the fact they believed he sourced it, compounded it etc lead to guilty?

But that's what supporters always do! He is a star!!! (We just drafted him) Will win four brownlows (got four kicks in game one) Future captain and captain of our next flag (spoke well in a media conference)

I'm an atheist, I have zero faith!

I did not expect this. I thought it was done and dusted, I was just enjoying seeing Essendon lose with no excuses.
-
Yep, I'd like to see him get back quickly in case a kick is on, but if there is a clear handball and he can block if required then use it. Still think we need s true ruck at the end of the year.

I didn't think Pyke was that good. I thought Spencer actually tapped it to areas our players could get first use and not just to his feet.
-
Spencer had 7 tackles, and 10 disposals. Not to bad I thought. Toumpas suffers from Wattsism, where fans expect Ablett like game or he was poor. fwiw I thought Toump was decent. And thought Watts was too in his limited game time. Stretch needs to learn to keep his kicks down and not so floaty but otherwise a great start to his career. Showed he knows how to find the footy and space. Has a crack too.

THE DRUG SCANDAL: AFL TRIBUNAL DECIDES

Don't hold your breath. -
TBH, even when he has been quiet I never think he is playing bad or out of the game. Like Carey, you know at some point he will impose himself upon the game.

Have The Hawks become flat track bullies that wilt under pressure?

Hodge, Lewis, Frawley, lake. Take the equivalent of those four out of any team and they will struggle.- 122 replies

Great to see him get mid 20 possessions, iirc he was always a great user of the ball but wouldn't get 30 poddies often, just 20 quality ones. I was sceptical of him playing back but he is doing well, but i like to see him play midfield in the last 2-3 games this year.

Their bigger bodies don't stop us from hitting targets by foot. Nor does the diet. Though I think "paleo" diet is a wankfest.

Doggies are getting love from the umps today. Seems they can dispose of it in tackles any ol way. Saints have been done for throwing a few times.

Unlike Howe, Watts can kick goals regularly. -

Says the person who quotes it and doesn't remove the pic....

I'm watching the Victory and quickly flicked over a few mins ago.. WTF is going on in that game? Who has kicked the goals?

Jamar must be dropped as a rest. He was far from our worst. -
Loved it, especially Petraccas mum, what a character! My wife lost her Mum to BC and was her carer during her early 20's after a few years battle she passed. Always support this charity, one step ever closer to a cure is a great thing to strive for.
