  1. You might get a gig then...Roaming Nasher
  2. Totes jelly of all those in Melbourne firing up pre-game. At home doing a load of washing and looking after the brats while the wife is at a work function. On the plus side I did make the most of a flying trip to the 'g last weekend...unsustainable behaviour to say the least. Cheer hard folks...go dees.
  3. Partly mullet, partly his Mornington Peninsula (not the good parts of the Peninsula either) heritage. I played cricket with his dad...little bloke but hard as nails. He had a mullet too, although they were all the rage in those days.
  4. Not even a fine for the kicks...utter bs. http://m.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-10/greene-cleared-over-kick-fined-for-kneeing
  5. Looks like the top-right graph is saying Geelong' s heaviest player is ~102kg. Ol' Tomahawk must have only had one foot on the scale.
  6. You're not the only one...a kid two seats in front of me on the SkyBus had a power-vom into a plastic bag just as we were leaving the airport. I'm not a religious man but I was praying that the bag didn't have any holes in it...
  7. At the airport waiting for my flight to Melb. Few other Dees here which is nice to see. Lunch in the city with the brother-in-law. Few beers through the arvo with old mate who's flying down from Cairns for the game. Dinner and drinks with family and then walk to the 'g. Going to take a serious effort to remain tidy by game time. The bye took a bit of the edge off for me...not being in Melb probably contributed too. Feeling it now though, pumped!
  8. Bernie wouldn't be eligible to play for Casey unless the Dees are playing the same week I assume.
  9. In Hobart for work for the past 20-odd hours. I've asked every person I've passed (except for the bloke in the Carlton beanie) if they're Nasher. No-one's said yes yet, although two tried to punch me and three others offered their phone number...
  10. Love Bern. Not too many blokes win B&Fs at two clubs. Loved his pointy elbows even though they meant his unsociable brand was always on the borderline of a suspension. Met him at the Interstate supporters function last year (he was guest speaker because he was suspended) and got a selfie with him, Robbo and my good wife. I suggested to her at the time that I'd turn for Bern. Nothing's changed.
  11. And his head is disproportionately large.
  12. Check your mail! My sister was organising tickets for the family yesterday and had much the same story as everyone else...managed to make a booking but it timed out before confirming the purchase. Four hours later she gave up in disgust. Ten minutes ago her tickets from the 'failed' purchased arrived via email.
  13. Just glad I haven't booked my flights to Melb for the game yet...
  14. Sydney at $3 was ridiculously easy money...
  15. Was hoping to enjoy a few of these while watching the game... Show some heart Dees.
  16. Is there any doubt?
  17. Doing Dry July in support of the wife. Demons will most likely test my resolve. Is it against the spirit to pay for a cheat day on the very first day?
  18. Bit unfair on most five year olds....
  19. "Spot on" also gets a good run.
  20. Mine called me at work to see how many to buy while she was at the bottlo. Silly question really, nice of her to ask though! Tomald to kick six.
  21. He has a more suitable head for radio I reckon.
  22. The Wheatsheaf Hotel in Thebarton is well worth a visit for the spectacular range of beers if that's your thing. It's in the free tram zone too, which would get you back to the Casino/Train Station in 10 min or so to walk the rest of the way.
  23. I hope that censored phrase was [censored], if so I agree.
  24. Been for a run and made the kids breakfast, about to hook into some bacon and eggs myself. Real estate photographer coming around tomorrow morning as the house is going on the market...musn't leave celebratory empty tinnies lying all over the place this afternoon/evening. Dees by seven goals.
  25. Flower is the absolute Demon hero for our clan. My dad played for Murrumbeena in the late 60's and when he was 21/22 coached the Murrumbeena Districts U11s. One of his charges was a young Bob Flower. Dad is the 'adult' at the back left of the photo. Young Bob is in there too. No idea where that scorched earth wasteland is that they had the photo taken, but whatevs. As it happens after my years of meandering through Rosebud junior footy, then Monash Rugby (more of a drinking exercise) I played a season of footy at the 'Beena before heading overseas. I tried hard but was just an honest backman in the Magoos. Anyway, playing for that club where my dad was a premiership player was a great highlight.
