I'd been jaw clenchingly quiet up to that point but that one tipped me over the edge and I got told off too, I apparently gave my 9 year old "a big fright". We're heading down to Melb for a family holiday over the easter/anzac holiday period...anyone want to buy some reserved seats for the Tiggers game?

Sportsbet has paid out on the Geelong win...

I'm pumped! Dropped the girl at gymnastics. Dropped the dead fridge and two out of date gas cylinders at the waste recycle centre so I feel I've done stuff. One of the non-dead fridges is full of home brew and I am ready to start working on the footy season a.s.s. groove on the couch...bring it!

New Major Sponsor - Jaguar CONFIRMED
Kumamoto_Ken replied to Viney+Brayshaw+Hogan=Flag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yep, can't wait for the "We win, you win" promo. A Jag would look very nice in the car hole next to the Austin-Healey. -
Unless you're colour blind.

When I first joined 'ology I'd just moved back to Australia after a couple of years in Kumamoto, Japan. My name is Ken, and 'Kumamoto Ken' (熊本県) is Japanese for 'Kumamoto Prefecture'. I had that kanji in red and blue as my avatar on 'ology for a while.

The packet of coffin nails must be tucked into his left sleeve...clever.

My in-laws are down that way, San Remo and on the Island itself. Brother-in-law heavily involved in the Cricket Club...less so with the footy club now, getting a bit old for that.

Confirmed on the Phillip Island Football Netball Club Facebook Page. Sounds like he's moved to the Island. He'll smash it down there.

Wish Dean all the best for the future. Bit disappointed we no longer have a player from Clackline on our list though...

Surely the first ever use on Demonland of the phrase 'jive turkey' Bravo BrisbaneDemon, bravo.

Where will you be watching The Big Game
Kumamoto_Ken replied to red and blue forever's topic in Melbourne Demons
Home on the couch. Wife had already booked tickets to a High Tea at Floriade. Win-win really, this gets me out of that (no offence to high tea which I am sure will be delightful) and also empties the house for some ultra-profane barracking! Booooooooo-[censored]-boooooooo!! -
Open Training - Wednesday, 19th September

Would the travelling emergencies head for the airport as soon as the game starts so they can play for Casey on Sunday? -
I went skiing once, fell over immediately and split my waterproof pants. They proceeded to fill with snow every subsequent time I fell over (approx. every 43 seconds for the next five hours). I couldn't even give up and get on the p!ss as I was the sucker driving the hired mini-bus. Never again! I do have an Austin-Healey in the garage though...that's a plus for stereotyping. Pip-pip!

Perth Eathquake Wet Cloak supporters shaking

As an employee of Australia's pre-eminent public sector geoscience organisation it would be negligent of me not to put a case forward to management regarding some field investigation following this event. Might be my ticket west. -
Checking flights. Looks like about $1100 is the cheapest from Canberra (via Adelaide on the way over and Sydney on the way back). Return flight leaves just after midnight and results in an 11:45am arrival in Canberra...and then a wedding to attend in the afternoon. Disheveled would probably be an understatement.
