WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY
A reasonably reliable source told me that discussions with May have been underway for longer than has been reported.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BRAYDON PREUSS
I heard a whisper that we are intending to play two rucks next year. Hence our interest in Pruest.

Optus Stadium
I was at the game and I thought this too. But the players did a warm up long enough to have got a feel for the surface.

Who was our Mr September?

Who's going to Perth?
Got offered flight and ticket today for $1k. Couldn’t resist, the thought of saying no and then missing it if we won was too much. Wife will forgive me eventually. Go Demons. Make this special.

Dom Tyson - what's wrong?
I’d make the Smith for Tyson change. I worry about the WCE forward line leg speed against our backs. Jetta, Salem, OMac, Lewis aren’t fast. Smith is quick and can play tall. I like the idea of Fritsch on the wing, I think he is dangerous drifting up forward. Unfortunately that means Dom misses out.

My Melbourne highlights from Semi Final
Post game when the players on the ground and Goody was congratulating the players. He gave Hibberd a hug and after, Hibbo turned around with 2 fingers up, and you can see him say “two more”.

Where to watch the game - Melbourne V WCE
Anyone know of anything planned in the Mornington Peninsula region?

Changes v Eagles - Preliminary Final
I share similar concerns. I thought we looked tired at times on Friday night.

Esprit de corps
One thing I’ve noticed in both the finals and it’s not something I picked up on during the year is that there is that there seems to be a deliberate effort among the players to give each other a pat on the back or a rub on the head after they’ve done something well or made a big effort. Also when a teammate is on the ground, someone always bends down grabs their jumper and helps them up. It’s a small thing but IMO it’s a great thing. Shows they genuinely care about each other and that there is obviously a great team spirit in the group. I didn’t notice the Cats or the Hawks players doing it as religiously as our players or at all. Great sign.

Completely agree

Interestingly we have very similar opinions. The Front Bar is the only show I watch on TV now, other than live sport. We have a Netflix account but even that I find we use less and less. When the kids watch TV it is almost always something niche on YouTube.

Who do you “like” DV8?

Who are our bottom six? And where do they rate?
Where did you get this stat from ProDee?

Replace Kent and JKH with Hannan and Viney. Its a pretty strong side.

There are a lot worse getting around. At least he does his research and knows his topics.

Key tactical issues v Geelong
Who would you say are the tough players from Geelong? Selwood (x2), Touhy? Who from the Demons would you say are tough? I’m not going to list them but I reckon we’d have them well covered.

Key tactical issues v Geelong
Geelong have had 3 soft wins at home in the last 5 weeks; Lions, Freo and GCS. They’ve lost to contenders Richmond and Hawthorn at the MCG. We’ve had 1 soft win against GCS and 3 great wins against strong sides, two being contenders, 2 being interstate. I know which form I’d prefer to go in with. Also, the last 3 times we’ve played Geelong we’ve had more scoring shots. Twice they’ve beaten us by kicking a ridiculously accurate 20 goals 6 and 16 goals 4. Statistics would suggest that they shouldn’t be able to rely on that sort of accuracy. Their Goalkicking Accuracy for the year is 49%. So based on that they had arsey games and should have kicked (statistically) 13 goals 13 (would have lost) and 10 goals 10 (another loss).

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
Sad to report that the 21st Century is no longer. The revolving dancefloor has turned it's last turn.

HATCH MATCH & DESPATCH 2018
Alex Silvagni has been at Carlton for the last couple of years not Fremantle. Retirement correct club incorrect

Andrew Gaff
I still want Gaff at the club. If he contributes to us winning a flag (which he certainly would) I'm willing to forgive a brain fade. We've all had one. Go Dees.

12 weeks is over. I reckon he’ll get 8
