I think that development is more covering of the train lines west and south of the MCG towards Richmond Station. This is unrelated I believe.

The article is pretty close to the mark. There is a commercial element the development of the Victrack site too. Lots of water to go under the bridge though.

For what it's worth Glenn Luff (champion data) and David King gave Lever a huge rap on SEN this afternoon. Mentioned that his numbers as a defender were already elite and that he was tracking along a similar path as Rance in his youth. Love to see him in the red and blue.

I seem to recall that the pick we were hoping to get for the Trengove deal to the Tigers was earmarked for Jake Lever, who looks a very solid defensive player for Adelaide.

He's one of only maybe half a dozen players I have confidence with, when he has the ball a Melbourne player will be the next to receive it. Watts, Petracca, Bernie (last week excluded) Salem, Jetta the others.

I've heard he is not very popular among the playing group. Quite aloof apparently. Might be horse [censored]
