As you say though it is very hard to follow a club in that position. The only real hope is a dream run in a cup tournament. Definitely wouldn’t rule out a super Euro league. Last year there may have been games where he could have played VFL, this year I don’t think so, getting more games into him has been a good thing for him. Interesting the comparison with Pedersen as they are in very different parts of their careers.

Just heard Barlow interviewed then on Maclure’s show. Always had a soft spot for the guy, such a great story and just had relentless work rate. Would love to see him get another go at Carlton or something but it looks unlikely.
