I’ll admit I didn’t rate him as high as others in College but he really looked the part in that game and the Jets are very much a solid football team.

Sorry mate, last night was rough. Didn’t mean to be flippant as you were simply asking a question. At the time there were at least 3 articles like the one below that suggested Lever was out of contract. https://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/teams/adelaide/young-adelaide-crows-defender-jake-lever-declares-his-intent-to-return-to-victoria/news-story/0b904aa6d47fb8e6eb099aafe9cff021 It led me to believe that he was a restricted free agent (due to not being in the system for 8 years or whatever it is). It even says Adelaide would have forced him into the Pre Season draft if need be. If he wasn’t a free agent would they have just paid him out and delisted him to do this? There’s been a lot of confusion understanding free agency since it’s come in. At first it seemed like the AFL sorted all compensation either restricted or unrestricted but after that trade I and I think many others started thinking that you had to trade for an RFA. It seems like the whole thing was wrong and he was in contract and that this was just a clear trade. Learning on the fly.

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Also let’s get a few names happening. Who are the 6 who can walk right into the BP/HBF composed kick, slow the game down when necessary, leadership role? If I hear Josh Wagner as one of these I’ll be very upset!

It’s all just one long day to me.

I’m surprised we had 6 players that made such a positive impact on you!

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
Not exactly like for like but it will be good when he’s back.

He was terrible today but he has to play on next year for mine. We’ll never know the full extent of the impact he’s had but I reckon it’s definitely more than what the eyeball test shows. Plus we do not have replacements for that position, not yet anyway.

It’s difficult understand how you could miss the part where I said it was misreported a fair bit..

As a whole I couldn’t be more proud. What a magnificent season. A sparky playing for Casey 12 months ago is now a fully fledged AFL player. This setback will be the making of him again.- NFL
For sure. Planning, planning and more planning. Buckley at our game on Fri night said a lot about this theory. In the current NFL I think you really have to be a brainy, nerdy type that spends all day studying film and refining tactics to be a head coach. A real obsessed type. The days of coaches you could have a beer with like Rex Ryan are dying.- NFL
It’s definitely all about momentum this league. We’re a chance but would have to improve a bit to match it with the big boys. The line is still a slight worry especially interior, Jimmy is getting hit too often. But you can only go one week at a time- NFL
Yep, like a Champions League group of death the next month. Your Pack at Lambeau in week 6 which I’m not confident about at all. Then Gorg’s Rams! I’m not dreaming big this season to be honest. I thought we would challenge for playoffs but when Jerick Mckinnon did his ACL those chances took a hit. We had big plans for him in the offense. 8-8 would be a great result I reckon.- NFL
Best performance of the week. Of the games I saw at least. Starting to look like The Greatest Show On Turf!- Andrew Gaff
Silly comparison.- NFL
Was easy to miss, the focal point of the play was the interception. Before it got waved off that is. - NFL
