  1. I think I am too. This draft is a beauty and Im confident there is scope for a ready made mid to be taken. While May would be good there is something about it not quite gelling with me.
  2. Let WC get involved. Start a bidding war!
  3. It's been one of those days where the pollution from yesterday has lingered around and little else has been said.
  4. Was he really getting opportunities here? After his hamstring in Rd 5 he was barely in contention until the WC game. I know it was a tough side to break into but that's likely exactly why he's going.
  5. I think so. I'd expect him in the 22 at Rd 1 but I also expect to see someone go past him during the year.
  6. Great story, will always have a special place. Lived through some of the most terrible times for our club. All the best mate.
  7. Yep, it makes sense. His second half of the season has made him good bait. People won't want to lose him but if we get May we'll be pretty top heavy down back.
  8. Something needs to change with Hunt because right now he is not in the 22 on what he offers. Clean up disposal, become a more accountable defender, heck maybe even give him some run-with roles but as it stands he is not in.

Big loss Talib. Needs surgery as well! That offense can definitely win a shootout if it comes down to it but you want your best DB's out there.
  10. If we threw in Garlett that would be half the speed on the list gone! :p
  11. Not thrilled about it. Always a fan and we don't have a lot of players like him with speed who can kick a goal. He wants the opportunity, fair enough.
  12. It's a sign, he knocked back a free trip home! :p
  13. That is true.
  14. I know not everyone is the same but it's interesting how Lever was always at training sessions and Roaming Brians but Hogan was not to be seen. I'm sure someone will come up with a good reason for that but it's eye catching.
  15. From a Freo point of view (which I know none of us care for) it seems like a pretty silly list decision to sell the farm for Hogan. They can have a crack next year when he's out of contract and save their picks to really build a good midfield core. Just seems like a Mitch Clark type move.
  16. Iโ€™m hitting the hay now. Good luck in your quest to save the world.
  17. Yes, I understand what you are saying crystal clear and I am suggesting you ignore it.
  18. Let them say it. I donโ€™t read into it at all when players say the usual rhetoric regarding their future.

Sorry I meant great leader like Russell not dual threat. But can definitely move around in the pocket and get those extra yards. Iโ€™m a big rap for Wilson btw, love that guy. Yeah Winston surely has to come back in so never know. Iโ€™m waiting for some clown from Deadspin or something to suggest Kaepernick ?

TU that is exactly right, itโ€™s been a very rough 4 days. Actually had no idea you were a Niners fan excuse my ignorance! At least we can grieve together. The NFL was nicely poised to be a good distraction from the heartbreak but it wasnโ€™t to be. Itโ€™s a massive loss. This is a very complicated offense and if Jimmy had another season of getting it down then we could have added a few more pieces in free agency and had a serious tilt next season. I agree. Beathard has shown a little but he strikes me as someone who will only ever be a solid backup QB. Has a decent arm but needs a clear lane to throw, struggles with over the defender throw. Needs to be playing in rhythm. The Eagles also had a brilliant line whereas ours is still developing. Sigh.
  22. Have to Play hardball with Freo. If they want him enough they have to pay up.
  23. The old Rick roll, never gets old!
  24. Iโ€™m sure there are many who arenโ€™t surprised.

Yeah it's unlikely and honestly for his sake it would be good to see him get a shot at being a franchise guy, he deserves it. Never know, Fitzpatrick might be available after today :p Dual-threat QBs can be good but they need something extra to be great. Russell Wilson is a great leader and I think Wentz will be the same.
