Yesterday was a pure experience of enlightenment. The emotional highs maybe didn't hit height of late September but it was just bliss. It was a day of always dreamed of with a whos who of ex players that I always felt I was the only one who knew/cared about and then Robbo performing at half time. Garry announcing the medals, Neale etc They did it really well. Won't forget it.

I was just thinking this and was wondering if I remembered right. It was the Olympics that year and all sorts of weird stuff was happening with the fixture.

Pretty disappointed he won't be there on Sun. Seeing him present that cup would have been what we were all waiting for. I'm not gonna forget that look in his eyes when he came up the stairs in his apartment and saw the Cup sitting there. I'm equally ok with Hassa Mann or Nathan Jones. Just don't make me choose!
