  1. RIP Mark, devastating news.
  2. No brainer really. Not a world beater but need him for depth at very least.

Can't he just come to us instead? ?

We'll have to wait and see. I don't think he'll leave this year with Green Bay's window open and a coach who's proven to be an excellent play caller. I dunno, there'd have to be a bit to happen to make it a possibility.
  5. Like everyone, had high hopes. One of the best athletes to ever play. While I never thought he was a terrible kick he just never hit targets consistently enough. I'm kind of always surprised when this happens with a no.1 pick I'm still naive enough to think the sport is called football and that the best kid in the draft mostly likely can kick well but not always the case. This will sound silly but I'm just going to say it, I'm kind of relieved that players from that era like Watts and Scully are finishing. It feels like a long long period of side show stories and I'm looking forward to making new and better ones.

I've never paid much attention to this playoffs comp but it looks like fun. Must remember to join next year.
  7. Would love to see a punt taken on Scharenburg, Austin or even Goddard would be nice to have as cover for the gorillas. I don't know, but now that we've discussed it our back 6 will probably get wiped out with injury after 3 rounds.

Cracking contest. In the office today so watched on mute but I loved the way the game was being officiated UNTIL it was officiated. The spirit of the game was great for most of it just letting them play but then going against all that with some eyebrow raising calls. Definitely would have backed Aaron in on 4th down, I know Tom had started getting jittery so I sort of get it but I think they just had to go for broke there. Amazing what Tampa have been able to do, Arians has done a great job.

Rams look a good thing if they run and juice some clock here. Gorg will like this one Ie. I don't think he'll like it much at all! Tampa -10.5 Antonio Brown TD Gronk +32.5 rec yards Brady +278.5 yards Godwin first TD 118 with $10 stake

100% I'd be perfectly ok with that. Watt is great but there's no chance in hell he's been better. The work Donald does and the stuff he has to put up with on the line while doing it is crazy. He's just one of the true great football players. Textbook statement but it's true.

Rib injury, not ideal. That last throw was woeful, they all look like they are being tipped off the line of scrimmage.

Can we just give Donald defensive MVP now? Update: Off the field. Not a great sight, hope it's not serious.

Alright! Time to put a massive SGM on the Bucs. Theres points to be scored! Antonio Brown 3 TDs. Sorry getting ahead of myself

Metcalf hits back at his coach with TD. Btw someone should remind him with no fans, we hear everything on the sidelines..

Hope these two teams just knock each other out :p But seriously what a pick 6 that was. 4 WR set and bam. When you pick Wilson off, you've usually done something pretty impressive.

    2021

2020 was incredibly tough, obviously no-where near as tough for me as others but it was a major drag. Caught up with a 'sort of' ex today who moved back to Adelaide in May and was getting some stuff back off me. I really don't think she fully understood how hard the Stage 4 lockdown period was. It can be real frustrating when people in that position who never really felt it use the line 'well it would have been like that for everyone'. Like many others I was hoping the mere changing of the calendar would change everything and I'm confident it will eventually but it's definitely going to be a slow burn.
  24. Happy new year Demonland and may all your dreams come true. Let's hope the mere changing of the calendar fixes everything.

Yeah thought that might still be the case, just seems odd that a 6-10 team can get a home playoff game while a 12-4 team can not only miss out on their division but also have to travel. But it's the weird and wonderful things that make this game.
