The only comfort I'm taking is that the light is off us for now. Let Geelong, Port, Brisbane and co have it. If having this crap happen now means it not happening next week then so be it. Going to Port isn't the worst thing in the world. Would give us the best chance to be battle hardened and my word if we do it over there we can do it anywhere.

I think it definitely would have been nicer if the Dogs just won last night but really there’s going to be fools gold littered all over this finals series. Tonight’s match does mean a lot more now but do agree it’s not lost if we come up short.

The thing that scares me is that inaccuracy in grand finals gets remembered forever. North in 98, Geelong in 08 etc. It sticks with you.
