  1. It’s fork in the road. You need to make slight adjustments as the season goes on and it depends what answers we can come up with.
  2. Take away the stigma of Brown for a sec. we need somebody in our 50 to: a) Provide a target inside 50 b) Make a contest and bring it to ground c) Take a good defender. When T-Mac gets up the ground and takes a good contested mark we are a tall short up forward and we just need that foil. Ok so it doesn’t need to be bombing in constantly but we seemed to like that option yesterday and may need it as a last resort occasionally. If people are happy with our current forward setup then fine, but our small forwards aren’t giving much in terms of goals right now and we need other ways to get a look at goal.

I don’t know whether it’s some sort of tactic to ‘soak the pressure in’ then hit them when they are worn down or if it’s just slow starting but we look so cagey and cautious early in games lately and it isn’t helping. Teams scared to take risks don’t win.

I've felt totally in the minority on this. I dont mind the 5 or 6 Thurs games a year but it's just really hard. I do not want a Thurs night final.

Was put off watching any footy tonight but gee sounds like we'd better come to play next week after reading these ladder scenarios.

If you're not winning clearances you're gonna be on the back foot. Had plenty of chances to get back but our bread and butter let us down. Really don't have a heck of a lot else to say after today, at 12-3 If you complain you're ungrateful and negative because we've got a good win-loss ratio, if you stay positive then you get accused of having the attitude that has held us back all these years. Don't really feel like being accused of anything tonight so I think we'll leave it at that. I will say that what was happening in the middle was the most concerning part, although forward structure needs a new edge.
  7. I'm undecided on whether BBB would have helped today but it would be nice to have a key forward that could actually bring it to ground. If we weren't being intercept marked up forward then it was just pinging out straight away, like old times.
  8. Hard to make noise when they are sending us to sleep. First half felt like watching paint dry.

Agree, I’m done with top spot. We stink at being front runners and need to take a seat for a bit.

We certainly had a lot of ‘rookie’ moments.

Not cool. Didn't come to play in the first half. Raised the intensity in the second, didn't execute. Not a total disaster but I do think we're a little ways off being genuine flag contenders.
  13. Lifted the intensity, but not enough end product. Can still do it but unless that clearance count changes it's curtains.
  14. Didn't take our chance and paid
  15. If we are playing a 7 man back line that is not going to do it
  16. Hard to see where the next goal is coming from lately. Need to move it quicker and lock it in for some repeat stoppages.
  17. Nice snoozefest we've put on
  18. Need some forward structure
  19. Come on Dees!

Big win for the 3 lions
  21. What would have been a pass mark? Like specifically what did you want to see from him?

It seems like at this point his chance will only come from injuries. Would love to see him get one more guernsey but for now Sparrow is man we need games into.
  23. Is it just me or do these all look like paid extras acting?
  24. I’m tipping Petracca and Gawn were 2 of those you saw? Felt like out the whistle away moments late in the game but they were decent shoves.
  25. But did they pay arm chop Redleg? The commentary I was listening to suggested that.
