I watched Crystal Palace v Aston Villa on sat night. Palace were impressive yet at the same time Villa's defending was a shambles. They couldn't get drive through the middle, simply needed more out of Kamara and Digne. I could be overhyping Villa but I'm just expecting a bit more out of them than a regulation mid table side. I'm not a 'second favourite team' kind of guy but I do find myself watching Palace a lot. No idea why, just really like the way they go about it. Thought they may be a bit lost after Hodgson left but I think Vieira is doing a fine job.

Gotta smell those roses sometimes and with a bye this week there's the perfect chance to. Still have to picnh myself sometimes that we finally have a competitive footy club that you can go and watch week after week and know you're going to get a decent game.

Oh not having a go at Gorg hell no. Just the very sight of the word 'barcode' reminded me of all that business! The sitting with people thing is going to be interesting. Before we get bogged down in all the finals hoo hah, I really just want to take one darn second to acknowledge what an excellent home and away season this was from our club. Some clubs fall off a cliff in their title defence, some might skim by and make the 8 but our boys backed up and saw off the challenges to finish in an optimal position for another shot at success. Onto the bigger business but for now thanks MFC, that was a real joy to be part of ❤️.
