That's right and one of the bare minimums we'll be hoping for is opposition has to plan accordingly for it. Richmond never usually go into a game that tall. It's going to be about making ourselves harder to play against rather than how to combat other teams.

Nice one Singa, it will be interesting to hear because the thing that stood out to me in this game more than the sheer weight of centre clearances was the quality of ball delivery into 50 from the clearances we did have.

Of course but I kind of don't mind a quick little intro for players. Sometimes decent ideas come from silliness, or in the AFL's case all of them.

Again, like I said with Jackson, this is no time to be chasing a big money contract at 21 where he really hasn't scratched the surface on his potential. The wise thing to do would be to take a 2 year deal, gain more experience, play your butt off and affirm your status as one of the best small forwards in the comp. The next contract can be about your ego or go-home factor. You can say that Jackson got it anyway but I'm not convinced getting that deal will be the best thing for a 50 game player still developing. Time will tell though.

There's some clubs that do this, I think the Doggies did it at Marvel last year from memory. As long as each intro doesn't take as long as NBA for 22 players then I'd be for it 😄
