Absolutely Balls, totally agree. We were taught the same way, if you can't punch the ball then punch their arms. Obviously don't hold the arm but disrupt any way possible. It seemed like another dippy dappy thing they brought in purely to increase scoring.

Really happy for Clayton, it's hard to explain but I haven't been this happy about a milestone game for a while. This guy is a club legend, end of story. We know Garry Lyon has constantly had great things to say about Clarry but the one that sticks out was around early 2017 when he said out of all the youngsters we had, this one was going to be the best. And Clarry's best is as good as I've personally seen at Melb. Whatever happens from now till the end of his career, whether he's a one club player or does take a fresh start, he will always be a favourite son at MFC for me. This Sat will be a moment to celebrate all of this.

Been knocking him this year but I don't think trading him is a good move. He's still a proven scorer and we need those.

Great to hear the family is getting back on their feet. Seems like a great lad, couldn't be happier with his form.

I never knew why the arm chopping rule came in and don't know why it has lasted this long to be honest. A key forward worth their salt in physical strength can be arm chopped all day and still pull marks in. Doesn't get nearly enough heat that rule.

Listening to this now. Binman I do hear you RE: concussion. However I feel like we've all been starting sentences with "If we're serious about concussion we need to XYZ" for years now. Whatever faith I had in the league doing the right thing in this area was given a time of death at week 1 of the 2023 finals series. I don't know what it will take move this immovable giant but the league simply doesn't care enough to make the changes necessary. That's just how it is for me. PS: Hope the trip is going well!
