  1. Yes. I've been thinking about this a lot lately, 2 more seasons with finals and he gets there.
  2. I'll take 60 this weekend.
  3. I think Campbell Brown had one late in his career as well from a knee to that area.
  4. What a night that prelim was. Pain free and stressless, like a calm body of water. Everything zen.
  5. Yeah that is a big no-no.
  6. 7 players remain from that fateful day. Interestingly only 4 from Essendon. Edit: It's not that interesting.

A lot of people over time here have shared stories about finding old memorabilia and contacting the club to donate but have been ignored. This might be a great alternative solution for those people because it will still help (albeit indirectly) our club.
  8. I was surprised too dees189227, thought most weeks a game like that would bank it. I liked Ginbey's game in the Derby though and I think it was a reward for his first 3 weeks of good work.
  9. I really hope DL doesn't become a jinxing machine. We got 100+ point margins being predicted in this thread already and now this to sink our superstitious teeth into.
  10. Boom!
  11. Nibbler: 13 pressure acts Spargo: 10 pressure acts.
  12. This is a situation where I can actually understand putting talks on hold. An under 23 y.o on the fringe of the best 22 with some stiff competition for spots, he's likely set himself the task of working his way in there and probably feels that should be the focus. The next few months is very big in the scheme of things for someone like JJ.
  13. Ginbey from West Coast looks like a tackling machine as well. 26 already!
  14. Footy makes this town tick!
  15. Did T-mac look to move a bit better in that game? Can we rule out anything hindering his ability to cover ground?
  16. I was definitely tuning my inner Volkaneo!
  17. I ended up reading this after some heat, yes I jumped the gun a bit and apologise. Was trying to be cool.
  18. Win first, everything else later.
  19. Will try and squeeze it in today! Big advocate for Reach.
  20. Heard some of it on Garry and Tim this morning and yes it was a little strange. The bellies are full after going all in and reaching the summit, not a terrible thing and most club's supporters would take it but that would be the most likely explanation.
  21. Wish I had time for all these shows. Only really have time for the DL pod lately.
  22. I haven't watched an MFC game with Ch 7 commentary yet. Thinking of just letting this ride.
  23. Certainly was, just thought he was exactly what we needed for this game.
  24. Depends on the area. Things are a lot more diluted now but you'll get patches here and there with a certain fan group. For instance, I grew up in Kew/Hawthorn and half my primary school were Hawks fans. May be a bit different now but there's still a very big Hawthorn presence in that area. Almost mirror image of my scenario Demonstone. Dad is Collingwood, mum is Hawthorn but really just wants our teams to do well. Apparently when I was about 3 I said I wanted to barrack for Geelong because I loved cats. Dad gave me the business and said I had to barrack for a team 'next door' like mum's or dad's. I was friends with a Melb fan in Kinder and the rest is history. Be careful what you wish for dad.
  25. It's almost like if you get through the first few weeks of the season without any big indiscretions, the new agenda eases up and you can get away with more. It's silly.
