  1. Yeah true that.
  2. Unnecessary black mark on our history and made no sense right from the start. The misinformation this has spread throughout the league and opposition fans who like to remind you that โ€˜we got done for tankingโ€™ is ridiculous. Not guilty of tanking but fined $500K, give me a spell.
  3. I find it funny but not at all surprising how the AFL don't acknowledge the effect that these late notice decisions have on team preparation ie. the stars of the show.
  4. I like it, good job! Good point about the extra two years of conditioning. Sometimes this info is presented as if fitness starts from zero each pre season when in truth there can be compound effects from previous years work. The 2020 pre season was a massive change in the way we treated fitness and as a result the overall attitude and mentality it instilled in us. If Binman's Acts 1-3 are the official Star Wars movies then this one is Rogue One ๐Ÿ™‚ I know people are mixed on new Star Wars movies but this line is purely meant as a compliment.
  5. That's right. I think it's just too subjective to pit these era against each other in terms of fitness and athletic ability. One one hand you look at the 90s and see players largely sticking to positions, not many Nick Riewoldt CHFs running high kms each game but then there were a lot less rotations so you had a lot of mids and even ruckmen running most of the day. These days everyone needs to be an athlete but they are managed better and have more resources, I would say overall they are fitter but it's just so hard to tell by how much.
  6. It probably needed to be said though!
  7. Yeah that's the one, horrible night with about 50 people there.
  8. Who knows where it's all going. Maybe in 50 years science and technology will have advanced to a point where you can wirelessly insert a layer of extra protection to sit between the brain and the skull and increasingly prevent concussion, you never know with the rate things move. But until that time the semi-contact route looks likely.
  9. Yep. A true elite team wins anywhere.
  10. Didn't he kill us one night at the G?
  11. Damn good communication skill!
  12. Appreciate the honesty.
  13. They are in the right place for this business.
  14. The Geelong Brickbaggers
  15. They don't call it high voltage lotto for nothing.
  16. There's a hole in my heart, as deep as the well for that poor AFL, who fell half way to hell.
  17. Who doesn't like a morning snag!
  18. Yes because you're undoubtedly a good parent ๐Ÿ™‚
  19. Lots of Python fans on DL. We're a bunch with good taste!
  20. Ooze used to do it himself out of his own pocket I think.
  21. The hospital stay didn't help Oliver but he'll lose a lot more conditioning if he enters next week without a game in 5 weeks. If he's good to go, he's good to go.
  22. Absolutely and Barossa. Plenty of scope in SA.
  23. Can only really remember the hand kick. The only time we've seen Clarry in any real pain.
  24. 03 ๐Ÿ˜„ and yourself?
