  1. He looks like a player that needs a long spell in the paddock. Put him out give him a good break to get his body right. There has to be some sort of injury to cause him to move the way he is. It is something that is manageable but he is moving like a 60 year old
  2. Yep, incorrect disposal doesn't exist anymore
  3. We need to stop moving players around. He is out of form, try some one else. Rivers has shown more this year, Harmes has got games on past years form
  4. It all comes back to skills, we just cant keep the football and if you cant keep the football and turn it over the way we do you have no chance to defend. It is the same players making same mistakes. The highlights of this year hsd been May, Weiderman, Jackson, Langdon, Pickett and Petracca, most are fresh faces to our club, weid and May we didnt see much of in 2019. Need to see more fresh faces, we know what we get with most of the guys that played today lets see what else is on our list
  5. We can see that we still are a bit off legimate top 8 sides. We need to focus on 2021 get games into Rivers, Bennell and see if Bedford, Jordon and chandler can show something Out Tmac, Harmes, Spargo, preuss, sparrow In rivers, bennell, bedford, jordon, gawn Tomlinson to follow in Ryder for second ruck
  6. The bulldogs just followed the blue print to beat the dees. Push players back across half back and just wait for the turnover then attack. Teams know we dont run hard to defend and we can't kick. Don't worry about playing a ruck the dees mids and ruck dont communicate and you can just rove off melbournes ruck. Gawn Preuss same same, their tap dominance isnt a concern, just rove off them
  7. Yep, i wouldnt call the dogs a quick team, the saints are. If we cant win the clearance and control the footy they will smash us. Would love for Weiderman to kick 5 goals in a game, he is almost there again getting hands on the footy but not capitalizing
  8. Fritsch, was terrible, for a bloke his size he needs to defend
  9. Harsh on Tomlinson he was good today
  10. Was and is are two different things
  11. Agree he was one of our better players, he basically rucked for both teams with the dogs mids reading his hits the best
  12. Because he is no good, another player gettinh games on 2018 form, stop backing him
  13. Just need to cut and paste same comments from port, richmond Geelong wce and the games we have lost, same as last year, cant kick cant take advantage of ruck dominance, no forward pressure, midfield got outworked. If it isnt on our terms we go to who we are.
  14. Preuss was the dogs most valuable player.
  15. Play Rivers, Harmes is cooked
  16. Same old story cant kick turn the footy over cant keep backing players that make the same mistakes over and over
  17. Forward pressure we are done usual suspect cost us
  18. He is a player that when he came into our club he didn't have a position. To me early days he was a midfielder that just didn't have the tank to play big minutes in there, he was never a small forward and it wasn't till he had a foot out the door we put him down back, thank god we did and he fought hard for that spot. Great story and should be told to any aspiring athlete or person a lesson on persistence and commitment.
  19. The issue all clubs face is the reduction in list sizes and salary cap. Players might want to go but clubs just won't have the room for them. Don't believe any reduction has been confirmed but this will happen. Another point is the draft, 12 months development is massive for a 17 year old. Recruiters will have no idea, a kid that dominated last season my have struggled. If this happened the Clayton Olivers draft year there is high good chance he isn't drafted and if he was it would have been in the 3rd/4th round or rookie. He had a massive year and we picked him up early. Hard job for the recruiters and list managers this year.
  20. Hopefully a club like North Melbourne with early picks make a few clubs use up their early picks by bidding on F/S and Academy players. This is where the NGA are so unfair, the Bulldogs have a kid that is rumoured to be top pick, the bulldogs have pick 8, this enabled them to go hard on a trade with pick 8, trade pick 8 for a future first round pick, there is not a chance that the Bulldogs will take pick 8 in this years draft, as long as they can have enough points to cover the pick in late second rounders and third round picks. I'm not all over the F/S and Academy players but all we here is the top end of this draft is full of them. On the flip side it might give us a chance if we want to get a pick in the top 10, lets say Future first round pick and pick 23 for Bulldogs pick 8 and future second round pick
  21. For those suggesting Tmac goes out for Gawn, with Preuss to stay in don't really understand Weidermans role at the moment. He is playing our deepest forward with either Tmac or Jackson in front of him. Preuss couldn't play the Tmac/Jackson role he would need to play the Weiderman Role, I not sure we what to change that up.
  22. Like all clubs we need to prepare for another massive period of Football. If Gawn is fit he comes in, I would play him against Dogs and Saints, then rest him against Freo and Sydney. Then play the last 2 games and hopefully finals after that.
  23. Ok, we can twist any number, lets talk percentage of centre bounce attendance not numbers. So you start with 4 then an additional centre bounce for every goal. I reckon the amount of goals kicked over the last 3 weeks will be higher than rounds 1 to 9
  24. This will show us where we are at, a game we should win, the coach is backing his players in, by 7pm tomorrow we will know whether we are a serious side or just a flat track bully. I think we are the latter but hope to be proved wrong.
  25. Avb must have some good photos, i thought early last week Hannan kept us in the game, went quiet as the team dominated but played well when North challenged us.
