That all sounds great & promising, but i still say we should work close with the state Govt & the melbourne city Council as well as any other sponsors we can find. It is our advantage. "If you got it Flaunt it" as they say

Exactly It is seen both Nationally & Internationally. We could be worth a Packet if used Wisely by the State Govt & Melbourne City Council.

Thats what i said in another link. Get the State Govt & Melbourne City Council to Promote Themselves & the whats Happening in this state on our Jumper. Pay us rather than an ad agency. We are Melbourne. Its our best assett.

I agree with What Mark Fine Said on SEN a few weeks back. I f we cannot get a major sponsor we should use our name, & do some deals with the State Govt. or The Melbourne City Council. They Both Spend money on Marketing & Ads. Let us carry some of that on our backs. We are The Capitol of Victoria so lets get out there.

I would like to see ALL NAB cup Games used as Fundraisers for the Bush Fires & not Just Friday Nights Game. This is an on Going Disaster & everything Counts. Our Tasmanian Game Against the Hawks should also be played in Melbourne. Thoughts??

12 Days out from the NAB Cup and still no sponsor. I don't like the look of this year at all. We are in serious trouble. Nobody wants to touch our jumper at all. I hope i am wrong but i don't like our chances of long term survival without a major sponsor. Lets be honest, if it was another club we demonlanders would be circling over head waiting to draft a few players. But it is our club that HAS NO SPONSOR before the 2009 Season. Hold on tight Guys we are gonna have to fight Hard here.

Don't Anyone EVER Have Sympathy with Carlton. HaHa this thread has made my day!!! Carlton have a few Worries so maybe they will stay near the Bottom this year. Sure hope so. I know a white witch I must speak to her-see what she can do.

All This will depend on How many Games the club Wins from this year on. We have bottomed out. The next phase is whether we pull out of it. It is not going to be easy. People may Disagree but we are so far behind the pack. I still have nightmares of that Friday night game last year against Geelong.. That was scary!! We are a long way off winning.
