    I have no doubt Neeld is trying to instil a new Culture & Vision for the MFC. The trouble is he must coach for today as well as tomorrow, i don't think the balance is there. At the moment it is really hard to even watch the Demons. Mark Neeld better coach his ass off against the GC or else he is squarely in the gun.

    So you are content to just let things wallow along Boss?You are a very forgiving man. Personally i am tired of the snail improvement, when many young kids seem to step up in weeks at other clubs. I will bet you any $$ you want the AFL want visible improvement in the MFC this year. It will be our 7th year underground.

    Yes, to not emphasize "winning" as a coach seems strange to me. It gives the impression that Neeld deep down does not trust himself. That's the vibe i get. Now if the board have told him to not mention the word winning, then they should pack their bags right now.

    If we keep getting belted he will not see out his contract. It is quite simple. There is to much at stake for the Sponsors, the AFL, 7 & Foxtel & even the long suffering members. Neeld expected improvement this year so we the members must hold him to that, & i mean scoreboard improvement.

    Something will happen yes. Will it involve Neeld long term?The next few weeks will tell. Neeld does not have seasons up his sleeve. This is no longer 2008.

    You make a very valid point. The words Development & Rebuild should never be heard by players. The equal subconcious relaxation. I wish our list played with a desperation to improve skills and decision making, of which i have not seen for a long time. Remember that Friday Night flogging by Geelong in the rain? (2008?)...We are still at that point 5 seasons later...Re bloody building. It is a mere excuse.

    Yes i agree there was some improvement in the Second Quarter. But the 1st was same old same old. A lot of the general footy watcher would have switched off or switched over to something else. It wasn't entertaining or exciting to watch. Neeld as i said got rid of a lot of our list, and l think went to hard too quickly. So it is up to him if he can extract some wins. The birds ar just starting to circle.

    I hope Neeld succeeds but we have seen no improvement in 18 months...The AFL will be quietly demanding a better product i assure you. Remember we do wear the AFL Logo on our jumper, they are involved. Neeld has obviously stripped the list back, to deep too quickly i fear..which Bailey also did although DB was not wquite as Savage. The way i see it Neeld has taken a very Bold risk, and at present it is not working...he has weeks to find the solution. We have to show some improvement so people want to watch our games on TV.

    No improvement in 6-7 years BD....Nobody has been anchored as long as the MFC

    Quite simple...in 6-7 years we have not improved, the club is not pulling its weight within the Broadcast Deal in the eyes of the AFL

    How can it be the best option when many people have said to me "Why are the Demons wearing a Sydney jumper today?" Yes we have been over this many times because it Stinks And why did we wear red & blue socks against Carlscum? I am trying to work that logic out. But of course, there is none. I forgot.

    Essendrug are in a world of pain. It is merely a case of when. This is above both the AFL & Essendrug. Ziggy Stardust's report is designed to keep the members sated for as long as possible.

    I saw enough in the second Quarter to please me. We could have been in front at half time had the ball bounced differently. For mine Neeld is still under the pump but i now believe he can do it. The team had a REAL crack without a forward line. (Haven't we heard that before!!)

    Didn't look good. Since the "sling Tackle" from a couple of years back Jack T has looked bog ordinary. Sadly. He should give the Captaincy in tomorrow. Just be a player. Always hated 2 Captains anyway.

    Geelong prove beyond any doubt that the MFC should not have gone down the Tanking, sorry list management road. At years end you take the draft picks you get and teach the team to win.

    So Rodan was recruited to play for Casey & sit in the Grandstand. Great glad we got that sorted. Other AFL sides try to improve each year.

    I am not questioning that. Moloney had to go. But there is now a black hole in the middle that Neeld did not trade for. David Rodan has already been dropped twice, his career is almost done. We have no big bodies in the middle. Tomorrow shalt be ugly.

    Not talking about those 2 boys. They are kids. To jettison a player of Moloney's size and not replace like for like is a very dangerous ploy, which we are witnessing right now.
