My point is St. Kilda has treated it's members very poorly since moving to Etihad. My brother is a coterie member. Even when they were pulling good crowds 40,000 + they were still paying out often. Their members have had enough. We the MFC still have a chance if we can attract the right business people.

St. Kilda signed a deal to play home games at a privately owned Etihad Stadium. They only have themselves to blame. They signed not long after Essendon.

Deanox Richmond wasted so many opportunities up forward. It had nothing to do with how well we played. The effort that day was better than most games this season, but it still was not near good enough. It just shows how bad the last few years have really been. Mark Neeld's assessments are that of a man getting desperate to hold his job. I do not blame him for that, he is just not ready to coach this sick girl. We are just that far behind the comp.

Barassi went to Carlton. Since then it is all possible. A 6 year Kennett term would set the MFC up for the long term hopefully. He would get people to the club.

Many people have said nasty things about the MFC since 2007, a lot of them considering where we are wer probably right. If the MFC are to survive and get strong we have to suck it up and learn. I am not saying Kennet is the man, but after watching his last performance on Footy Classified before the season started that is the type of person we need to lead this club out of this very delicate situation.

I heard him on SEN before games not long after Jimma died saying how sad it was that the MFC was not a power. John Kennedy learnt all his craft from Norm Smith. We were the Power.... I am not a huge Jeffrey fan politically but he is the exact type we need to be able to stand up. We do need some outside people.

Let me add. I am not a FH Member at present, but with the right appointments made, i am prepared to financially back a new ticket. But this time it has to be right. I would even be in the ear of Jeff Kennett. He has stated he wants a strong MFC in the comp.

I have been concerned since Round 1 2012 Ron. There has been NO IMPROVEMENT ON FIELD. It is all above the shoulders so it is the coach who must take the rap. He is a teacher who is not teaching 20 months in.

I am happy to contribute as long as the incoming President, coach, Board & CEO (if Jackson is not there past 6 months...i think he will stick around) have considerable experience & success already achieved. If the MFC hire a whole set of Rookie hopefuls again i shall withdraw all financial backing. This really is the line in the sand moment. The Red & Blueprint has done a full 360 in 6 years. Interesting take Cudi. You maybe on the money. Whatever the answers they are not going to be pretty. The realization that this club is back in heavy debt only 2 years after Jim died whilst we have not moved ladder position tells me that the wrong people are in power. They were chosen to work under Jimmy, not to make ultimate decisions.

You nake some good points Dr. But Neeld is to inexperienced for this monumental task. I do not blame him as he did not hire himself, but he is out of his league at the MFC. We need the best of the best to give us a fighting chance. 50 years of neglect and sellfish quick decision making have us where we are.

It would be interesting to dangle a carrott at The "Chemist" Worsfold. We need to poach someone. Stand up & not take the leftovers. Worsfold aint perfect but he would toughen them up. Wet Coke train so much harder than us we are told last night. So get him over East. A challenge.
