  1. As per their order matched against the order of the originating post......and FWIW, it's simply my opinion. Grimes into his 3rd year is a running player off half back and may well be a star mid fielder in the future. His talents matched against Sylvia, who appears to be beginning to reach his true potential would be an interesting dual and a good learning curve for Jack. Frawley showed greater strength and poise in the key back roles last year. His work on Riewoldt, until moved in the last round was more than commendable. A great experience for both JW and Chipper. As others have said on another thread, many are hoping for bigger things from Dunny in 2010. He has strength and a match up on Bater would be a good test for him in my view. Warnock on Stef Martin for his strength. I see a lot of up side with Jamie Benell and with Wonna on the comeback trail and keen to put a lousy 2009 behind him, I think it would be a good test for both. Lastly, J Riv had his first season in a long time which was injury free, I would just like to see how his agility stands up against the Jurrahcane. Remember we are talking about an intra club, as the question was posed. My opinion only, but happy to see what others think.
  2. Grimes, Frawley, Dunn, Rivers, Warnock, Bennell???
  3. Does anyone have any news on Sam Blease and how he is travelling?
  4. Listen to 774 in the morning. AM in particular. Occasionally tune in to the cricket. But I love my sport and like HT (and others) I listen to anything remotely connected to the MFC regardless of who broadcasts it. Apologies for my eclectic taste.
  5. I've tuned in late, but Greg Denham is on SEN with KB now. Has he said anything that I have missed?
  6. I understand your point, but it may have something to do with publication deadlines and the good will of the publisher, who I think from memory is a club sponsor. I enjoyed the read in any case.
  7. RR, I am not referring simply to this topic. You regularly take things out of context and regularly censor other topics and posts. By the way, I am by no means chuffed and I have no need to "chill" I am quite comfortable, thanks very much. Perhaps the chill factor is something you seriously need to contemplate. Go Dees!!!
  8. The Defence Lawyer is probably too nice a guy to have to deal with such cases. Having said that, if it wasn't for the expertise of Rainer, the kid may have gotten worse.
  9. That's right RR. As per usual, take one phrase out of a post, twist it to buggery and use it to suit you own ends. For what it is worth, I understand the rule of law better than most here and represented many clients in far worse situations than these guys. But I am not now in the Court of public opinion, rather I am on a Demon forum and your arbitrary use of censorship is far worse than anything I have said on this particular topic
  10. Justifies what? A bit of banter on a MFC related forum with my comrades? P.................leeeaase!!!! I can tell you, my Magpie mates have copped a few emails from me today and I suspect I will cop some from them over the course of the next year. Such is the life of a footy supporter.
  11. Agreed to some extent, but if they want to trot out the cliches about Range Rovers and snow chalets, they can cop some back. In this case, while not representative of all filth supporters, I would suggest the behaviour is "A-typical"
  12. http://www.heraldsun.com.au/news/collingwo...o-1225806508181 Let's see how the coward goes in stir. He won't of course, just a slap on the wrist most likely
  13. I too remember Derek Feldmann. A serviceable player in an ordinary side. Almost as good as Shane McSpeerin (no. 50?)
  14. RR, you sure go back a long way. Some of those "famous" names may actually go down in infamy. David Cordner..... a top bloke, but the original Coodabeen Champion.
  15. He's young as well and his body is still developing. Until he finds his true AFL "legs", as with any young bloke, he might be considered "injury prone", but I reckon he will grow out of this phase of his development
  16. I loved this clip. Seems they're all great kids. Thought DB's reaction to Fitzy's hair was a classic.
  17. I would have thought the point is, the status quo on membership number probably would have been maintained, had Jim not taken over. That along with the publicity surrounding Jack Watts at the time. I doubt there would have been a surge otherwise. The again, neither you or I will ever know for sure Hazy. Anything else is pure speculation.
  18. We can argue the toss as much as we like, but I suspect most supporters are more than satisfied with the job the current administration is doing. Conflicting recollections and "points of order" do not advance this debate. Let's just be solid now, behind the footy club.
  19. What about the muppets who made "comments" underneath the article? Typical filth supporters. I can't wait until Jack makes these idiots eat their words.
  20. I rest my case. Did you note the " ". The word, in this case, was used as a metaphor for not giving you anymore credence on this forum. Damn, I just done it. No more though. Engage your brain before you do your mouth.
