We should be turning our intention to Zac Langdon.

I can’t see the King Brothers in the same team... Confident Dees get Ben.

No brainer on the cards! Pick 1 & 2 - GC take Rowell & Anderson Melbourne trade Pick 3 for Ben King and GC on trade to Adelaide for Crouch. An exchange of draft picks as well. I would expect Adelaide to cough up a 2nd rounder (possible future) to GC which could then be passed onto the Dees.

In - Tomlinson (done), Ed Langdon (should be done) Go after - Ben King, Zac Langdon, Jamie Elliott, Isaac Smith.

Tim Kelly will fold and play for the Dockers in 2020. The Dockers will trade Pick 6 & Darcy to the Cats for him. West Coast simply cannot get the deal done to satisfy Geelong.

It’s my opinion... I think the writing is on the wall with Ben King. GC might as well deal him this year for a premium. GWS will be involved as well! Keen to get there hands on the Dees Pick and will pay the price.

It doesn’t matter if we have Pick 2 or 3. In the end, the Dees will end up with Ben King.

Connor Menadue should be a player we are seriously looking at!

Dees should be hell bent in keeping Frosty... He gives 100% week in week out. Might make some mistakes. But which defender doesn’t? He does a hell of a lot right! I was rapt when we got him and would be rapt to keep him...

If the Dees get Pick 2. I’m confident it will be traded to GC for Ben King. Therefore, GC get Rowell and Anderson. If we get Pick 3. Ben King is still on the cards but will play out quite differently. I have two scenarios if I was Recruitment Manager; Pick 3 to GWS for Pick 12, 14 & a player (eg. Zac Langdon). We then on trade; Pick 12 & 14 to GC for Ben King or ideally Pick 14, 2020 First Round Pick & player (eg. ANB, J Wagner QLDer, etc...) Add Baker as he is a QLDer also. We use Pick 12 to select Cody Weightman Add Pick 20/21 - Ed Langdon & Free Agents - Tomlinson & Elliot. IN - Ben King, Ed & Zac Langdon, Elliot, Tomlinson, Cody Weightman...

Yes yes yes to Elliot... I just hope we try and bring in another small forward as well. Eg. Zac Langdon (trade) or Cody Weightman (Draft)

Ben King has been linked to the Saints... I suspect we have an interest also.

I’m sure I will have a lot of posters shoot me down here... I rate Rhys Stanley as a tap ruckman and hard to match up forward. Great athletism! He has touched up both Max and Brodie and it amazes me Geelong dont persist with him on field. I think he is a player with X factor and can be the player that makes the difference in a big final! 29 in December. I think he has a couple or three good years in him. I would recruit him to play as a forward if we could get him for a later pick.

Newnes stats and ball use efficiency very ordinary towards the end of season. Saints/Ratten would be happy to let him go I would think. Richo maybe a fan of his but Ratten not so... Newnes would benefit from a change of clubs.
