    OUT - Spargo, Garlett, Hunt, IN - Kent, Melksham, Hibberd, Man up, Kick straight, Forward structure Kent for Spargo. Spargo lacked penetration in his kicking on the weekend. At least 2-3 goals missed because of this. Something Kent has no problem doing. Garlett struggling. Melksham straight swap. My mate believes Melbourne players are avoiding Garlett on the field and he is on the outside of the group. Anyone else notice this yesterday? Hibberd if ready has to come in for the injured Hunt.

    I think we need to be aggressive and trade for young talent; Out with the slow and players who cannot kick. I won’t name them! - Gaff (is a star and very gettable) We must make this happen. Free Agent so we don’t have to trade. - Tom McCartin! He is a first year player and going be a star! Not sure if he can be traded this early in his career but is definitely a player we should be looking at. I believe he can be a genuine full forward. - Dylan Shiel. I belief he is un-contracted. Improves our mid field immensely. We need to be aggressive this trade period. Full stop................

    Forget about trading Hogan! He is a required player. We need to fix our coaching box and game plan! We should be chasing Caracella very very hard!

    You don’t trade away key position forwards especially ones who can work up the ground as a midfielder. You work with them and the team. The Dees glaring problem is team structure when moving the ball and delivery into the forward line. We are very poor by foot! Our forward 50 entries compare with the Bombers of 2000. But most are poor entries or lack of forward structure to keep it in and score. The Dees priority needs be Gaff and another elite kick. We have too many hack kicks in the side. You just have too watch yesterdays game. No wonder Henney is in contention for Mark of the Year when have poor kicks sitting on top of Jessie’s head! Jones kick inside 50 in the last is a prime example. Two Dees players by themselves but his kick misses them both and straight to a Sydney player. Priority should be; - Gaff - another elite kick and runner - seasoned ruckman/forward (Roughead)

    I think not letting Sydney play a loose man in defence will go a long way to winning this game. That’s most likely a Aliir Aliir or a McVeigh! McVeigh is there kicker out of half back and needs be manned up like a rash when Sydney have the ball in there hands. Pederson can come in and chop out Max in the ruck but also allow either of Hogan and T Mac to push up the ground. Meaning Aliir Aliir is most likely going to have to man him up. If Pedo leads up it allows us to get over the back and expose the Swannies with Our smaller types. If Aliir Aliir is going to play loose he needs to be manned up!

    OUT - Smith, Vince, JKH IN- Pederson, Hunt, Kent Pederson comes in to chop out Max and give Goodwin an option back or forward if required. I think Pederson can expose Sydney on the big ground with his run against the Sydney talls. Hunt comes in for Vince to give us more pace and a potential matchup on a Rohan. Sydney forwards will try and beat us with there pace. Ronke, Rohan, Florent, Hayward, Papley all quick. I can’t imagine both Lewis and Vince down back against this mob! Kent gives us a forward flank threat that can play up on the wing and push deep forward. He is more versatile than JKH and has a booming left foot and plenty of dash. Kent most definitely improves the side. Creates a headache for Sydney too match up on I think! Goodwin will be wanting field the best team available over the next three weeks.

    It would be a shame if Gaff didn’t attend the Brayshaw Family golf day next week! So they can hit golf balls at him... ?️‍ And then bury him in a bunker!

    It is a good idea for Gaff to clear the air with Angus also. He is Andrews BIG brother! And it is better for him to do it sooner rather than later. Before he signs with the Dees.

    I’ve got the Dees winning there last three games to finish 2nd and play West Coast at the G in the first final. I have West Coast winning one of there last three and it ain’t against the Dees!

    Gaff has flown to Melbourne for several reasons; 1. To front up to the tribunal like a good man and accept his punishment and give his apologies; 2. To meet with the Dees and tell them he is coming next year and discuss his guernsey number. 3. To play golf with Angus and Jonesy and discuss club chores for 2019, and 4. To hang out with The Bugg. Oh! and; 5. Tell north he ain’t coming.

    I just saw Brayshaws mouth on the Channel 10 news! Not great! Feel for him... 12 weeks! No less and No more... Character references, first time offence mean nothing in this case and should not be considered. West Coast should not defend and just accept. The AFL should put out a Notice to all players, clubs, leagues Australia wide that from this date forward this type of incident will be treated as assault and will involve the Police. It’s not a footy act! If the AFL wants to be serious. Punishment for this kind of behaviour is expulsion from all levels for life! If the AFL doesn’t act! Solicitors will...

    I was hit in the mouth by a cricket ball after turning 17. I had shattered teeth which were also fractured under my gums. Exposed nerves and a severely lacerated lip and gum also.... I endured 10 years of dental work including 2 years of wearing braces to expose these fractures and fix my teeth. It is Traumatic and pretty [censored] time! I feel for Brayshaw. He is only 18. It brings back memories of my own! I like Gaff and believe he had a brain snap and it is out of his character. However, what Andrew Brayshaw must endure for the rest of his life needs to be taken into account. It is assault and should be a police matter. But it will not! Though, it won’t be long before this is the case in the sporting arena. If he did this in the street he would be facing court and a law suit for damages both physical and mental. 10-12 weeks for mine! I think he will get 8... One Punch cowards are rife in society! This is an opportunity for the AFL and sporting community in general to make a stand. Because are courts do not!

    Pederson comes in for J Smith... Keilty could be considered but I think at this time of year Cams experience and versatility gets him the nod. Hunt might come in for Vince. And Kent will be considered over Spargo or JKH. Hunt will provide some dash off half-back and Kent X factor at half-forward. Pace and run and carry type players are crucial in our run into finals. We are going to have bring it on in matches against the Eagles and GWS. And into Finals! Give Melk another week!

    Gaff will get 8 weeks if the AFL is fair dinkum...! That’s considering Gaffs good record. 10 weeks should be considered. Serious and traumatic facial injury to Brayshaw and his season is dusted! Bugg gets 6 weeks and Mills plays the week after.
