  1. Will the Aussies put Khawaja back in and drop Marsh? Or will Burns be stiff? As good as Marsh was in the first Test against ordinary bowling, Khawaja who played brilliantly against NZ, deserves to come back IMO after injury.
  2. Wouldn't matter Earl which way they bent, left/right, flip it over and no one will ever know, and it wouldn't faze me in a smoothie. And as squire BBO would indicate.... as long as they're ribbed for pleasurre.
  3. Just keeping with the No B$ theme.
  4. As long as they're less than $2.80 /kg deal me in.

Would love to see Leicester on top at Christmas, in fact as much as I'd like to see Utd win the EPL - I don't think they will - I hope Leicester win it. Maybe it's the MFC/Underdog in me...
  6. ^ I said that with a bit of tongue-in-cheek, but seriously thought there may have been a chance the Aussies would dismantle the WI twice in no time. The Taswegians were lucky to catch a few hours on Saturday. Dismal Test Cricket. No matter who wins the toss on Boxing Day - send the Aussies into bat so it guarantees some cricket on Day 3! Imagine if Pattinson had gone with his original technique in the first innings and not the second in Hobart! .....
  7. Nah, Chop sui.
  8. What a stuff up. Sylvester (Police) has already said the way it's been handled is a disgrace. Unbelievable. How unprofessional.
  9. Mmmm AFL negotiations . ....this is No B$ , so it's topical here. From Twitter... Shane McInnes ‏@shanemcinnes 10m10 minutes ago Tom Elliot spoke to woman involved in Martin saga: Not happy with way case handled by AFL. Feels AFL wants her to water down her version.
  10. 583/4 dec. Voges 269no....not bad. There is a glimmer of hope we'll reach day 3 and see cricket this weekend...the Tasmanians looking forward to the weekend may get to see some of the Test. They'll be praying the WI see out today. Currently 2/58 and looking shaky..
  11. I think we can rule out constipation. Although I believe that is dependant on how many bananas in the smoothie for Red.
  12. This cricket season badly needs an injection of interest. The Adelaide Test was a good spectacle and close encounter. Day/Night concept and pink ball a resounding success with crowds over 40K for each of the 3 days. Unfortunately it only lasted 3 days. Perhaps it's partly to do with the changes: - Night concept, cooler conditions creating swing and favourable towards the bowlers Pink Ball....swing Grass coverage on pitch favoured bowlers - - - > contributed to swing and uncertainty for batsman All in all, it made for an interesting Test and did grab my attention a lot more than that of Brisbane and Perth Tests. This Summer certainly needed it and NZ can count themselves very unlucky with poor decisions this Test clearly favouring the Aussies. No one likes the flat track bully conditions that have traditionally favoured long drawn out Tests and excellent batting conditions for the Aussies on their home dung hill. A pitch which clearly offers something for bowlers in swing - even bowlers who can't get swing - and a challenge for the Aussie batsmen, is good for cricket and may help the Aussies prepare for Ashes series in England. It demands patience. Now for the West Indies. They're depleted at the best of times these days. The Aussies will be playing against a line up akin to Ringwood's or South Melbourne's 2nds team. Melbourne and Sydney Tests should be demanding the Aussies bat first, just to guarantee to get through to Day 3 in each Test...
  13. Welcome the new emoticon .....PJ
  14. Cheers to the new migrated version of D'Land. May your smoothies be awesome.
  15. Are you certain? Next year happens to be a leap year. No WJ, I'm not certain. Just a wild guess for amusement.
  16. This I believe is correct and what makes them quick. Pulling the trigger, kicking to position, quick thinking effective ball users/receivers sets them apart. Yes they have a couple of quick players, but the whole team works hard both ways, and they have confidence in one another that they'll win their fair share of ball and work off the ball to create havoc to space.
  17. If you take on board conversations from people who know what they are talking about, you might be sold. If you take on board from people like B.Sanderson who has said just as much. Including his All Stars game v Blues, you will be confident in knowing that he is athletically gifted, and took the game apart in one half highlighted by all his leading and contested marks. And if you ask me, a guy on limited preparation due to niggle (coming off no base), injuries and very limited footy in 2015 at 196cm testing at 12.4 in the beep is not concerning one bit. No matter the howlers here that say it's a poor return. There were 'mids' post season, injury free, that returned mid 13's.
  18. Totally agree. People have to understand the kid had OP earlier in the season. Add to the fact the Bushies only train once a week. The kid took it upon himself to get the best out of himself - post season - before Combine. He achieved it. It shows his character and his determination. On top of his finish to the season in TAC Cup. PS. Make sure you hold onto that sig. That's gold.
  19. Couldn't care less re: lack of media/social media training. That will come in due course. Couldn't care less about the views on his weight. He's already addressed the need to strip fitter in prep for combine which led to outstanding results and a noticeably fitter Clay. See ball get ball and what he has shown to do (dispose effectively, mark and kick goals) is what matters. The extra professionalism in club land will keep improving Clay. I'm as bullish about him, as he is a raging bull.
  20. It was great to see footage of the combine last night prior to the Draft. It showed Clay testing for goal kicking, whilst he did get a perfect score, a couple went through Kernahan-style and like I've mentioned elsewhere, he reminds me a little of Dane Swan with his kicking and Voss with his quick evasive skills & disposal (HB) as seen in the extended highlights version.
  21. I see a bit of Swan and a bit of Voss in him in that extended highlights package. Liked him from his initial package that olisik posted. Most noticeable is his body transformation in the last month or two, really impressive at Combine. The 3 weeks where he worked extremely hard in lead up to Combine shows a commitment to improve himself. He'll thrive within the Dees new environment. Looking very much forward to his progress.
  22. The Oliver train....that's olisik driving (obscured)
