I've seen the highlights, they're not that impressive. PS. there's no 30m handpasses either, only Hodge can do that.

Naita had no influence on that game. McKernan and Vickery killed him. Naita was left behind virtually caught out jogging on the spot. Sheer exaggerated incorrect comments such as an "unbelievable 30m handpass" are just fantasy and are unsubstantiated claims that didn't take place. These comments just go to prove you like to unsettle those to suit yourself.

Fwiw, I ended up watching all of it Grand Final Eve. When Neita hit the post with the first shot at goal, its as if I was reliving the disappointment. Dean Wallis cheap shot on Brad Green made me want to jump through the Tv and rip into Wallis. Deanox, you were spot on, not many helped the Ox for the Dees in the physical stakes. Powell reminded me of how handy he was in the clinches. I was out of my chair - again as I was in 2000- when Ox dumped Hirdy onto his back, in a move more accustomed to WWF. Farmer's first half was irritating - did nothing. Realistically the Bombers mauled us, we couldn't put any scoreboard pressure on when the Bombers were missing a heap of shots at goal.

Hey Mousey, Mika up top had Naitanui in 2.90secs, which is what Emma Quale reported on SEN. Although Watts time was the same as reported. Don't mean to knitpick, but either Emma Quale was given the wrong information at the camp, or she stuffed up. Or your info which has been passed on is incorrect. Either way the times are impressive. edit: thanks for that link with pics from the draft camp.

Good point Nugget. Although, not so much a burden for McLean, but I definitely agree with Miller lifting in the role by taking more responsibility. I think he would thrive in the role. Still, I voted for McLean. I think McLean will excel in the role too. Miller would be my Vice captain. He would relish in that role too IMO.

Some information with respect to our new Clash strip and new logo (ie with the return of the Demon) would be nice, but I guess they are still progressing through that. Perhaps Jack Watts will put on the new clobber as the No.1 pick for the new merchandise launch?!
