Whilst you're entitled to your opinion, 2 outstanding games doesn't seal it for me. Not by a long shot. Whilst I've been a Brock for Captain fan since last August - and which I voted for in the poll - Green is right up there now in my opinion. He has been the face of the club of recent times and has been a model of consistency, even this season. I'm still pushing for Brock though. Grimes followers are ridiculously premature. He's had what, 2 games?

I agree with on the right path as far as development goes. Hopefully he can withstand this season and whatever outside pressures he might face (ie. media, fan backlash) and coach in the last of his 3 years of his contract. Of which will hopefully be a real exciting year for the Melbournefc.

True. There were one or two last year until he hit form for a few games......then it went quiet until those listed above in your post.

We can at least persist with him for the time being after a full pre season, probably the only full pre season he's had since he started. At the very least see what he can conjure this year. I will make sure I wear a hankerchief over my face then... . 72 games, 23 years of age. If he 'monstered the comp' as you say over the second half of the season, why not ride that wave into next season and beyond, instead of getting something for him in a trade? If he has such a form reversal and the 'penny may have dropped' and finally matured as a footballer with consistency, wouldn't you be crazy to get rid of such an asset? .

I'm sure you will see stuff on field this year too, which will make it more bearable. At some stage. And Sylvia. Plug and play. I like it.

Fair dinkum some of you do not know what you have got until its gone. I might get a fair whack from alot of you on this occasion but i am prepared to back him in at the current time. He can play football and can take contested marks which we lack in spades. He will never be the out and out blue chip star that you all want him to be. He has 72 games to his name and granted he has not set the world on fire this year in 2 games however he can kick straight and is a darn better kick than alot of his teammates.
