  1. hopefully he can follow jollys footsteps
  2. hopefully proves everyone who has doubted him wrong and takes the necessary steps that we all wish for in the melbourne ruck department. we have yet to see any proof of that
  3. will be interesting to see how meesen goes
  4. macdonald staying home..Meesen is in for Spencer and Dunn is in too.
  5. a very disappointing 18113
  6. Nasher are you able to get to a pub or venue from where you are to see it televised live? or get to a friends house with foxtel? Must be a pain in the backside with no free to air
  7. yes i am the same unfortunately for the time being until we become more competitive we wont be getting a fair deal in relation to friday and saturday games
  8. yes i got the same i am sure the administrators would be doing their best once alerted unfortunately these things occur from time to time
  9. not if he is playing just half a game me too! hopefully he goes well in the grudge match this week
  10. Watts not ready for call up
  11. I don't want to shoot you down Jarka (in fact I'm not sure I am), but off the top of my head, it's not that rare - they are taken every so often, the question remains if 'they're really good' as you say: - Fraser, White, Kruezer, Ottens, Gardiner, Leunberger. Point taken though. Others such as Minson, Jolly, Cox, Brogan, Hille, Blake, Simmonds, King, who were taken further down the draft or rookied are just as competitive as those taken early.
  12. Yay! Didn't somebody post 8 weeks for Whelan this week? Good to see the 3-4 weeks to Grimes and Wonaeamirri reduced to 1-2;2 respectively.
  13. Using Ox as an example, is irrelevant. He'd get as much protection from Miller during a game, than Sunblock 8 provides on a 40 C day; UV rating 10.
  14. Starting a rumour montasaurus? I thought he signed a new contract last year, 3 year deal. I wouldn't have thought Freo and the Pav would part company...but I thought that of Judd too until 2007.
  15. They're there. It's just not there for the 4 quarters. Whatever, the output needs to be there consistently for the duration of the game. At the moment that hasn't occurred for sometime.
  16. Pleased to meet you Mr.Hudson!
  17. That's great petjud. I'm sure you and your partner will enjoy the resurgence. It will be exciting next year.
  18. You're right here. Auskick clinics - children participating need to be made aware the Melbournefc is a more than competitive club. Sustained period of winning culture will improve this. Hopefully we'll see alot more of the red & blue around clinics when the team & club turns around.
  19. Good stuff Carn dees! yeh, thanks mate..
  20. Need to be on the field first, to be able to lead. Very true. He's the captain of the back line anyway.
  21. We need to hang tough this year and "Stick fat". There is already improvement. There is progress. I don't think we'll get flogged as much as in 2008. We'll be competitive. You may see us struggle for the next few weeks as players start to return from injury. Supporters of the club, I believe are not that stupid Iva. They can see progress, excitement. They look forward to the likes of Blease, Strauss and Watts taking the field for the first time. I think you are definitely under-estimating the Melbourne supporters, who are loyal, despite the criticism on these forums. What is written on these threads are pieces venting their frustrations, people who only want what is best for the club - to see them succeed. They will stick with the club.
  22. My thoughts precisely.
  23. I think we might crack the 30,000 by Monday 20th April, right after the Richmond game. Fantastic.
  24. David Zaharkis this weeks NAB Rising nominee. (Essendon). He and Blease were my last years picks 17 and 19. Happy with Strauss.
