  1. How many teeth did he have 45hotgod, 3?
  2. Glenn Archer for me.
  3. Still need another ruckman, Martin won't be able to hold down CHB and pinch hit in the ruck. I like your defence, as it's not at all far-fetched, because they are all currently playing. Exciting times ahead looking at your side in 2012. Scully and Butcher is just purely speculative at this stage. I'll just say it's a strong speculative side. Fingers crossed it is a Grand Final appearance in 2012. It would be one of the youngest sides ever mind you.
  4. Could we be seeing the unfurling of 16hotgod? I hope not...just yet. Wheels still has something left. I can't believe it's 8 weeks though. Must be pretty bad. Hope it's not to do with BB's fitness regime. Soft tissue injuries...
  5. The Garland - Round 17 return is a long range forecast. I would assume that would be for a possible return to Casey. I'm thinking season for him. If the forecast is correct, they can take over at the weather bureau.
  6. Yes. You're probably on the money in that regard. Wouldn't surprise me either.
  7. I thought I heard on SEN the other day someone spoke of the non serving of alcohol 'during' the game within the EPL.....I could be wrong. Even if the AFL banned the serving of alcohol during games, it still wouldn't stamp out violence. But it may prevent regular occurance. The problem in some circles is 'binge drinking'. That's not to say this is the cause of everything, but it does contribute and is a problem for society in general.
  8. Is it true that in the EPL, they do not serve alcohol at games?
  9. Where is the lumbar stress fracture? Lower back at the base of the spine?
  10. That's what forums are for. Some posters can try and predict what might happen 'if' we don't win the required amount of wins. Nothing pathetic in that regard. I sing to the same tune. Not everyone on this thread cares about getting the priority pick. Like you say, "yes it's a good thing to have if we lose less than five games." Just so you know. You're not the only one on this one. I would have thought that no-one really wants to see their team lose week in week out.
  11. I assume you are referring to the opening of the thread post.
  12. .....everytime I look at the fixture too.
  13. It angers me too, mate. Maybe they could have those micro-chips - like a GPS, to monitor movement...
  14. Actually, I'd be happy if one of the Port players such as Chad Cornes, really got under his skin and had a go at him. Just to see if he fires up on the field.....it's time the penny dropped for Sylvia. Does the penny drop for Mildura boys?
  15. You sure about that Fairbump? I thought he was one of four young ruckman at west coast competing for rucking duties. I recall when we played them in the NAB Cup a few years back now, the year Robbo took a screamer in the NAB Cup opener for Melbourne at the Dome. PJ was playing and looked impressive. I think they had 3 big men playing that day. He rucked, but he also played up forward and looked impressive up forward. I remember thinking, gee, West Coast breed them big. Pretty sure Seaby and Cox were playing too. Surely, he was considered a potential ruckman at that time.
  16. I'm thinking we might need a VISY type company for support, so we can recruit a Matthew Pavlich. So we'll need an endless pit of money, much like Carltank.
  17. "Under 8" Champs. You little pedophile. (joking)...... . Seriously, we're looking at 7 year olds already?? We must be reeaallyyy looking into the future then.
  18. You could start a tracker, much like 'Jaded' with Rivers games tracker..... . Who will be the other teams in contention? Fremantle? Richmond? Essendon?
  19. It's nearly nigh impossible. If those thugs wanted to attend a AFL game, I'm sure they would get in. Who's going to know and identify them 6 weeks down the track if they entered? Unless you had highly skilled staff and surveilance, that could identify them or a member of the public recognise them knowingly, they'll get in. Ie. They could purchase a General Admission Ticket at just about any outlet, pay cash. Walk in on the day.
  20. Even if we get them we're not guaranteed a flag.....but we're probably better equipped to challenge for a flag.....but that will come down to the coaches and the game plan. PS. It's not that simple.
  21. Yes. Good post. Agree. Definitely in the coaches box, when the opposition have responded to our sides movement of the ball. We need a counter punch, it didn't come on Saturday.
  22. Hey DemonDeb, any news on the club's recruiting strategies last Friday??

    AAMI Stadium

    That bad huh?!...
  24. Yes. Yes. Yes. Especially the tactics to work. I didn't see much evidence of this on Saturday. You've got to make changes or change something up, especially 5 minutes into the last quarter on Saturday. Of course, more talent and a little more structure would have gone a long way to seeing further options for the coach at his disposal. Do you think Bailey is getting the best out of the players at his disposal? Currently, i think he is with some players, but not all. McLean, Bate, Miller have me a little worried. These three need to stand up. Miller needs to put one through the sticks when the side needs him too. He had 14 marks. 1 point to his name. FFS, a set shot just prior to 3/4 time, missed. He's big, he's strong, he's fit, he takes marks, he needs to assert himself on the game.
