thanks for those spells, ds. hope the sacrifices weren't anybody important.
-
couldn't find a link. does this apply from this week?
-
any chance you could conjure up a few spells for fritta? maybe toss in a few sacrifices to appease the footy gods?
-
weather forecast has improved coldish (15/16 deg at start of play), light wind, quite low probability of rain
-
more my sarcometer needing its batteries recharged.....lol
-
don't know ht, never been there.......very finnicky about contamination
-
good frame shot fritta is low and forearm would normally would be a chest high self protection/fend off north player is also coming in low and hard and appears to be pushed by trac huge potential for head to head clash. push by trac could be argued to be contributory. conclusion: fritta didn't have much choice......toss in north player played out game with no lasting impact
-
fair enough re other incident....was too blurry for my (aged) eyesight. strange it wasn't at least reviewed.
-
trouble is, from the vision i've seen (very distant) there is no evidence of more than a free kick if you have better vision, i'd like a link
-
and also protecting himself from a potential head clash he could sense he was in trouble of being injured.......just watch it frame by frame
-
nah, even if you are right there is no proof to link the two incidents and it would look like a red herring and plain desperation. there is plenty of other better arguments to get fritta's action downgraded to a fine let's just hope that his advocate does a good job representing him

got my email(s) last night. i can book from 3pm today barcodes are exactly the same as before, so you should just book at same time with same barcode to be safe you could just ring club this morning
-
i would add "fend and protect his injured hand" somewhat changes the context
-
i wouldn't call a defensive motion a strike, but ymmv
-
if you watch it frame by frame, as he takes possession of the ball his arms outstretched with his broken right hand the closest part of his body to the north player who is only a foot away and closing. self protection for his broken hand would dictate he folds his arm at the elbow with his forearm now protecting his hand. at this stage he is slightly crouched with knees bent and both feet firmly on the ground. unfortunately the north player comes in low, so a fend that would have been to the chest becomes head high what choice did fritta have (viney defence, and others), especially trying to protect his injured hand i'd be bringing in a biomechanics expert he has a good case based on this, plus when you also add low impact because player played out game with no resultant injury (outcome argument) fritta cleared to play by tribunal

from mfc website
-
clean record protecting broken hand low impact, player played out game with no lasting injury (nth. dr. report?) precedents e.g. dangermouse in gf worth a try
-
mods, can we change the thread title by removing "suspected"
-
crazy isn't it george? ok to have the food van outside the mcg but not a club tent
-
oh, so you want a pair of magic boots......rightio
-
what makes you think he doesn't?
-
i'll settle for a $2000 fine discounted to $1000 if accepted (as if)
-
forget the may incident, it is considered, rightly or wrongly, a purely accidental incident no comparison to fritta incident i'm sure there are many similar fend off incidents where no suspension resulted. these are the ones his defence (if necessary) need to reference

i didn't think ticketing was available till tomorrow or is mcc and afl members different?
