  1. for front-ended contracts i can't believe they wouldn't have a claw-back clause if player breaks contract early especially after beams, but it's just common sense anyway.
  2. which represents 10% extra on a 5 x 800k = $4M contract, so he is ahead $400k.....a fair bit of coin
  3. i would imagine that front-loaded contracts would have a pro-rata claw-back clause in the event of the contract not going full term
  4. they can't sign on with your account they will have to sign on with their account
  5. it may not have been called "prior" but iirc it was just called opportunity or no opportunity, still had to display an "attempt" to dispose when no opportunity. i do recall they were red hot if you had opportunity before being tackled. none of this drag it out stuff. the only leeway when you had opportunity is if you were in the process of breaking the tackle i.e. when the tackle has not yet really stuck
  6. not true. this was never the case in my life time. they certainly played around with the interpretation of prior and also the time allowed to dispose when there was prior, but the concept of prior opportunity was always there getting rid of any prior rule would be bad and just encourage the hunters over the gatherers
  7. i don't think it was ever stationary palm for the ball hand it just had to be clearly hit off the palm by the other hand with a closed fist
