  1. eRead my posts over the last few years. I am by no means constantly negative. You're right the press has been happening for years which is another reason we should be able to do it and limit it's effectiveness. Thanks for proving my point. Sure Davis is in good form. The coaches should have known this. They payed him little respect and he cleaned up. Your analysis seems very protective of the club. I will read them that's what the forum's for. I'm hardly flaming you just wondering why you and others keep defending what I see as indefensible. My opinion of that is very little as I think you're struggling to see what should be plainly obvious after 4 years.
  2. No need to get precious. I'm well aware our midfield got spanked yesterday. How about the coaches try a spare man down back and try leaving a forward such as Jurrah one out in our forward 50. We're getting spanked to a large extent because collingwood are far better. However we're also getting spanked because we're being completely out coached. As for your comments about being heroes going coast to coast. That doesn't excuse the 99 other times we kick it to the identical spot allowing the opposition to score heavily from our kick ins. Our players are flat footed and reactive. We can't even run and spread well. I'm well aware of our limitations but I'm mostly aware of our coaching panels limitations. And no I don't think you have an agenda.
  3. Maybe. Our kick ins are laughable. That's poor coaching. We haven't had a clue against a well executed forward press or how to execute one ourselves all year. That's poor coaching. Allowing Rivers to be so exposed. Poor coaching. Getting belted by collingwood. Can happen. Allowing Davis to [censored] us. Embarrassing. You can make excuses for them but the coaching is fairly ordinary at the moment and I'd be predicting a clean out at years end. I only reply that people represent the club because I'm suspicious of people who defend everything the club does. They either have an agenda or can't think for themselves or both. You can see it how you like HT.
  4. Don't tell me you work at the club too!
  5. After a loss like that the captain needs to stand up. You roll out the young ones after a win when the pressure's off. The problem being our captain is a massive reason we are so rudderless at the moment.
  6. We got beaten by 88 points and were completely without any structure or formation to counter it. Just look at our kick ins if you want to see hopw badly we were coached. The coach is gone, get over it and move on.
  7. You're pushing an agenda for the club I hope your master is wearing a glove
  8. OUT: Green, Gawn, Bartram, MacDonald IN: Jamar, Petterd, Tapscott, Garland
  9. He's not a nervous supporter. His point is he doesn't know (like every one) whether Scully is staying or going. Thus he doesn't want to get emotionally involved because he doesn't want to be disappointed should he leave. Perfectly reasonable. FFS the club took him with it's No. 1 pick and he rightly wants to know sooner rather than later what's going on. Distractions wouldn't be distractions if we didn't look at them. However the Scully situation is becoming a distraction because the media are reporting on it every other day.
  10. Green can't be blamed for today's game as a whole, that's correct. He can and should be held accountable for what would have to be the poorest performance I have witnessed from a Melbourne Captain. He was exposed over and over again. He shat himself the moment the captaincy was handed to him. He and the leadership group need to be changed over at year's end. I cannot accept another year of him as captain. Let's get Trengove, Watts, Grimes, Moloney and Jamar to lead the team next year. I'll guarantee none of them would serve up what our leader served up today.
  11. I sat next a good friend of mine today who's being a passionate supporter since he was born. On Scully he had this point to make. "How the f**k am I supposed to get emotionally involved with a player who won't commit to the team and the club which I'm apart of?" It's a good point and Tom needs to step up in the next couple of weeks or let the club know he's off.
  12. Jeez, that was truly horrible. I can handle losing but when your captain gets spanked to such an extent it troubles me.
  13. I think everyone should watch his presser. Who do you believe? Tom or Schwarz. I know who I believe. Tom's a Demon and he'll stay a Demon until well after we've won our Premierships. Could you imagine playing alongside Trengove, Gysberts, Mckenzie, Watts, Jurrah and a host of other talented youngsters at the MCG. Personally you couldn't offer me enough to pack up and play in shitsville for choco and sheeds. No amount of money would soften the pain of watching your mates win several Premierships. Now, off to the G to watch the awesome foursome take it up to the pies.
  14. The media keep saying he's going simply because he hasn't signed with us and it's a great story. We've got 12 weeks as a club to prove to Tom that this is the place to be. In my opinion this is what he is waiting to see. He wants to play football in the most professional environment possible to give himself the opportunity to become the absolute best he can be. Money will not be his prime motivation for moving. I for one will be shocked if he leaves, there's too much good stuff happening around our club. However if he looks at GWS and thinks it'll be better for his football to go there then go there he will.
  15. Aware of your opinions?
  16. I think The tigea pay martin in the vicinity of 700,000 per year. Hot bad for "less money" as you put it
  17. I thought you said he told you he was staying?
  18. You're very accommodating of all the Melbourne people aren't you. Are you pushing an agenda for someone?
