  1. Dunn, Jones and second round pick
  2. Yeh, pendles signed for 1 year keeping gws in the picture and Thomas hasn't signed anything.
  3. There is no doubt Morton struggles with the tough stuff. He's in for a treat against the Tigers who will no doubt line him up. He's a couple of preseasons away from being big enough to really impact games. It will happen. He's 21, he'll likely be a very good player when he's 24 - 25 (as mentioned by others)
  4. The crowd is behaving as though Tom just re-signed
  5. Can you lose the font, it makes your posts almost unreadable
  6. OUT: IN: Jamar, Gysberts OUT: Gawn, Bartram
  7. No complaints with this little fantasy
  8. Can you give more detail re Blease
  9. He will, for collingwood or richmond, GONE!
  10. One's a player who's been on our list since 2003 and has played a handful of really good 4 quarter games who no one has linked with GWS. The other is a second year player who's a number 1 pick who looks likely to fulfill his enormous potential. Oh and he's been seriously linked to GWS. I hope that clears up your confusion.
  11. I never claimed I was the origin of the information. I'm simply sharing that I've heard on the topic, from reliable sources. Apparently that's what forums are for. I have no intention of gloating if it's correct or apologizing if it's wrong. It's simply information, grist for the mill if you will. I'm fully aware that their past revelations aren't startling hence I didn't post them at the time. I posted this as it was a new slant on the Scully topic. Clearly you're staying in the saddle so I suggest you buy some cream.
  12. No my hunch was terrible. I think I've made it very clear in my posts that it ain't gospel and it might not be true. I'm not pedalling any agenda and would love Tom to stay a Demon. All along I thought he would stay but the people I know have told me things i choose to believe. I'm not asking you or anyone else to do anything other than make up your own mind. With regard to Bailey and Judd, of course there was a groundswell of information just as there is in the Scully case. If Scully were to leave and return to collingwood in 3 years and I bought it up with you then. You would no doubt turn around and tell me there was a groundswell of evidence to support the Scully situation. Try getting down from your horse once in a while it'll save your arse from getting sore.
  13. My friends work at the club. They are not "inner circle" as you put it. However they have no reason to tell me this information unless they thought it was true. As I said it isn't gospel. Tom didn't tell them. They did also tell me that Bailey would be the coach before it was announced and that the club had no chance of getting Judd. That's 2 from 2. I hope they are wrong, as they do but it don't look good.
  14. As I said make of it what you will. It's a reliable source as was this morning's. It strikes me as interesting that 2 different people both with contacts at melbourne told me the same story. Is it true? I think so but in the end only a handful of people know what is really going on.
  15. I don't know if it's true I'm just relaying what 2 seperate people have told me in the last 24 hours. It could just be the latest rumour in the Scully saga. Make of it what you will. It certainly ain't gospel because we still have what Tom said. Sadly for me I've come to believe he's gone.
  16. Having always believed he would stay I now believe he is gone. Had a long conversation this morning with a friend with several Melbourne and non Melbourne contacts, All roads lead to GWS then back to Victoria as was suggested last night. He doesn't see himself as a Melbourne player, wants out, will take the money and will then return to play for a power club. We'll take the compensation, spread our player payments around the club, recruit Viney and another top draftee.
  17. Met a friend for dinner tonight. His theory, supported by a friend of his close to the club, is that Scully wants out of Melbourne. Problem being he's not that keen on GWS. Theory is he might take a 2 or 3 year gig up there (cash bonanza) before making his way back to a bigger more professional club such as collingwood, carlton or maybe even richmond. Make of it what you will as it ain't gospel.
  18. Scully is far and away the best young player on our list. No questions. In 3 to 4 years time he will be dominating the competition like no other. For those who picked Trengove would you still pick him if it was he who was rumoured to leave?
  19. The issue is that as a 2nd year priority pick Scully should not be able to be on the GWS radar. He was given to us because we were no good and now he could be taken away with little compensation. It's a shocking rule and a mistake by those involved. If CS thought the deal was fair he's a dimwit, end of story. The fact you can not see this know means in your eyes the club has yet to make a mistake on any issue. I no longer believe you work for the club because surely they wouldn't be that obvious.
