  1. That's Scully, Trengove, Strauss with zero games Spencer and Mckenzie with about 3 each Grimes with 12 Bennell with around 16 MacDonald hasn't played 1 for us. Experience! Who needs it!
  2. Will they give me the money back when our membership goes past 32,000?
  3. That's a much stronger line up than 2008 V Hawks and the Hawks have a weaker lineup. Are we a chance. Of course we are!
  4. Why won't you be there? We'll canter past 50,000.
  5. 1 spot left. HiTower, are you brave enough to take me on?

  7. In 3 years time we'll have Frawley, Grimes, Sylvia, Trengove, Watts, Scully, Garland, Davey, Jurrah, Morton, Blease and Strauss so who really gives a flying about this year's top 50. Personally I wouldn't be surprised if one or two more crept in over the year.
  8. 4 more players required for last Demonland League - Supercoach - 570179 - Join up today!
  9. The way I read the article is that we are paying 100% of the cap so we can have some spare cash to keep the youngins on the list after we win our 2nd Cup
  10. Just signed up. This club's going to bleed me dry! With regards to confidentiality. I'm sure there will be plenty we can discuss and some we can't. If you really want to know, then hand over the cash and come along! It really is time to sign up to these things and the Heartland project. They are the kinds of things that this club has lacked in the past and needs its supporters to embrace.
  11. Not at all we,ve got 5 in so far so tell your friends
  12. Which would suggest that the AFL have adjusted their views on bumps. Maybe to keep it as part of the game. Only time will tell.
  13. Just created a new league, would appreciate 15 others to join. Supercoach - Grandflag - 570179
  14. Incorrect, A club needs to raid more than 1 draft to field a complete team. If they get a dud group such as 03 then they'll be average. if they get 08 they'll be great but it'll still take until 2016 - 2018. By then Melbourne will have won 3 premierships in a row and will give GC the mother of all hidings to win number 4. As for GWS Sheedy will make the mother of allmistakes with this team and set it's development back 10 years. I for one will enjoy watching this,
  15. I know but I just couldn't help myself
  16. In my experience when you bump another player either side on or front on with correct and fair technique the following happens. Firstly your shoulder/upper arm connects with there shoulder or chest(2players roughly equal height) Then because you are pushing them in another direction with force there head or face will generally either hit the top of your shoulder, your head(unlikely)as well as hitting the ground if it was a big bump. I'm not sure how head contact of some degree is avoided. In Kennedy's case, although he appeared to hit Sylvia late he had a good and fair position and you will probably find Sylvia's jaw was broken when his head tilted toward Kennedy at impact and hit the bony part on the top of the shoulder.I for one think the AFL may well have just saved the bump for the good of the game. It's the next few decisions that really matter. You all cry out for some kind of perfect consistency in decision making. It's not humanly possible. The game is evolving and interpretations need to be adjusted each year to ensure some kind of balance is found. I think it was a little late and thus should have been a free kick to Sylvia.
  17. We have potential champions of the game in Watts, Scully, Trengove and Grimes. If one makes it that far it'd be great, if 2 made it it'd be amazing, if all 4 made it we'd be counting the premierships for years to come. The Fire has most definately started and I'm hoping it's going to burn down 46 odd years of shite football.
  18. The parameters for a successful year are different year to year, This year I'd say Bailey has several indicators he and the club will be using to judge the "success" of the year. Quarters won Average Points for Average Points against Individual player development - games into young players Team plan development - are we beginning to execute the team plan? I'd say Bailey would be happier to see improvement in all these areas over and above winning games. I'm sorry to say but winning is not that important this year.
  19. If I was sent to the Crows with a bunch of other blokes my age, along with my best mate(Tapscott) and after 3 years we'd built a strong competitive team I'd be going nowhere. Leaving lets down your teammates and the club. To be a true AFL champion it's best to be a one club player. Espcially one you personally help lift off the bottom and take to the top. Relax, from all reports this young team is very committed to success as a group.
