I am not saying he should be traded but rather responding to the thread that says he may want to go back home.
It is a difficult one. He is our best ruckman, but that said he is not a great one. His 5 goals on saturday add to his CV. He may be the sort of player that now that he has some confidence and that of the selectors, is also capable of playing forward occasionally and kicking a couple.
Spencer is still a work in progress, PJ is a trier but is mobile, Meesen is injured and unproven and Martin does have some raw talent but needs bulk to play ruck.
If there was a very good offer for Jamar we would have to look seriously at it. He may also be able to assist with a spot on the list and salary cap relief if another player such as Bell or Newton was added to the deal. We will have to see what eventuates in trade week.
