Anyway unless Barry Prendergast likies him and most other teams don't, we won't get him.
-
Another attribute is that he runs hard for the full distance before bouncing. It is a pet hate of mine and I coached kids to never bounce until they had run their full distance, if they couldn't give it off immediately. I hate players who take 2 steps and bounce the ball, haven't they learned it only slows them down and increases risk of error and turnover. The other point is that and I am not knocking the kid, but I could do a highlight package of say Bennell and you would think he would win 3 brownlows. 1 or 2 highlights from a game and then joined with others can be deceptive. What you don't see is the errors, concentration, 1%'s, etc. Anyway he looks good in his you tube.

A few have to go to make room and he is one of them.

If not we walk.

You can certainly get sucked in by highlight reels and I along with many other Demonlanders have been in this case.

There is no doubt it is better. This year's draft has been badly diluted and next years is being called a super draft. We can offer about pick 9 or 13 in a super draft as opposed to Bombers 19 in this much weaker draft. We can also throw in Warnock if they are interested and maybe even Spencer with a pick back, as they need a ruckman and he is a Queenslander. Bombers are way behind us unless they find a better pick or add a star player. If we are the only clubs competing we are in with a real show.

I would have both of ours before McCaffer.
-
Then they could have pre listed him.
-
Also spoke about Suns needing a ruckman. I would offer compo pick, Spencer and Warnock if they want him. That trumps Bombers by a mile unless they throw in star player. Their best pick is 19. That would mean we have replaced the bloke who left with Caddy and another compo pick next year.

He is in the Petterd, Howe, Green mould and I can't see where he would fit in. Has had injury problems as well. He is smaller then their mid McCarthy and has a worse goal/game average.

It is now.

I thought they were allowed 50-55 and then start delisting from next year so that same as rest in about 5 years. Anyway, I've found the rule:- Expanded list and increased salary cap: GWS Giants will also have an expanded list size and TPP allowance in the club’s initial time in the competition, through to 2019, as follows: 2012 - 44-50 senior list, nine rookies with $640,000 - $1m TPP extra allowance; 2013 - 44-50 senior list, nine rookies with $640,000 - $1m TPP extra allowance; 2014 - 44-50 senior list, nine rookies with $640,000 - $1m TPP extra allowance; 2015 - 44-48 senior list, nine rookies with $640k - $880k TPP extra allowance; 2016 - 42-46 senior list, nine rookies with $520k - $760k TPP extra allowance; 2017 - 40-44 senior list, nine rookies with $400k - $640k TPP extra allowance; 2018 - 38-42 senior list, nine rookies with $200k - $520k TPP extra allowance; 2019 - 38 senior list, nine rookies in line with other AFL clubs.

Agree. He will be 33 before next season and has played 296 games. Look elsewhere he will stop quickly.
-
I agree with you Sloonie if we could get Caddy for 2 of those players or even all 4 of them and one compo pick, hooray. As I said I rate Bail.

He would, if he stated because of the way we have looked after him, after his father passed away, if someone else took him he would go home.

He is the senior footy writer for The Australian. He also fills in for that other happy chappy Patrick Smith, also of the Australian, on KB's show on SEN..
-
Well he is contracted for 1 year. Tippett is the better forward while Clark would probably be the better Ruck and around the ground.
-
GC can't be trumped on O'Meara they have MD 1.
-
On the other hand Jamar's real value is right now. Next year he will be 29 a free agent and has injury concerns. We have Martin and Gawn, Spencer after injury return, with Fitzpatrick if he can add muscle, Campbell as a rookie and even Clark for a few minutes on the ball here and there. Even Dunn has filled in for a few minutes here and there and then there is Tom McDonald who rucked as a Junior and is strong and could fill in here and there. We could rookie or draft another ruckman. Jamar is an adelaide boy and may be happy to return. Port has pick 6 not to mention the recently signed Butcher. Jamar to Crows, Tippett to Lions and one pick to us, maybe 12 back and one to Crows, could see us a grab a good mid in this draft. Pick 12 , Warnock and Spencer or Bail for Caddy. The possibilities are endless.

Would imagine we would front load the payment by half the total or maybe even two thirds. Then will still be in a position to attack clubs in coming years.
-
Now you are talking.

Yes take it back a notch.

Will be a Lion by Monday.
