Welcome to Demonland: Kalani White
I would be going hard at the AFL to exempt Father Sons from the NGA and quoting the front page article by Sam Landsberger in the Herald/Sun, where he argues that we are the most dudded side in the AFL, when it comes to AFL Rule changes affecting our drafting. If that is passed, Kalani can elect to come to us, or go in the draft.

That might be to play a round, but not get membership of an Interstate course, just because you are a member of a Victorian course. As an MCC member I can get into some English cricket grounds, but I don't get membership. Same for the RACV for another example. Reciprocal rights don't confer membership.

On Midweek Tackle last night, they referred to a bunch of Dees Players joining Huntingdale Golf Club, with an upfront $12000.00 signing on Membership fee and Petty was one of the players named. If that is the case, it might indicate he is not intending on leaving Melbourne anytime soon.

So how pathetic is the AFL: Dangerfield.
It was different in that Kade drove him forward in the tackle, into the ground. Kade's tackle could have been called perfect except, for the AFL wanting to stamp out head injuries. Kade was very unlucky, but as a player from a smaller club and thereby using us to set the example, he was the guinea pig.

I thought he would get off and he did actually try to stop Walsh hitting the ground, rather than driving him into the ground. I think it is a fair call. Agree with you, except he was a Carlton player.

We won't have to worry about it. He won't be coming to us. It will be the Bombers or another big club if he leaves WC. We already have a concussed retired player, a severely injured one and another with issues, all on long and large contracts to worry about.

He is a Bombers’ supporter.

Cats have apparently leap frogged Pies as favourites in the Bailey Smith chase. He has a contract with Cotton On already, a major Cats supporter. Likes surfing. Is probably not adverse to owning property, even farms. It is very hard to compete with some clubs for players.

Met a bunch of Dees fans last night and they were as feral about the Coach, as Uncle Bitters is when he gets down to the last few swigs from the wine cask. Basically want him gone and blame him for all our ills. I have a headache atm and they have got me wondering if it is Goody's fault. Love the fact we are now playing the younger guys and improving our depth. Don't know how we can win friday, but if we somehow could, it would turn our season completely around.

Andy Moniz-Wakefield to Debut
Someone suggested " amway" and it suits his name. I quite like it.

Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries
It was thinking of his fiancée that choked him up. He is a pretty great guy.

Goody was pretty upset Robbo called him a cheat. Watched AFL 360 expecting to see Robbo apologise for a pretty ordinary comment. He didn’t apologise. I thought that was pretty ordinary.

I have noticed that too and was surprised at some of his comments in our games, about us. It is sort of like if I attack my old club, everyone will know I am not biased.

As Leigh Matthews said on Sunday on Footy Furnace, it is laughable that people are now saying touching your head to get a free, is now a "disgusting act" on a footy field. He absolutely rubbished Morris and the Medias' obsession with the May stage. Said it has happened countless times this year without Media comment.

And that was one of the qualities we were led to believe he had, an aggressive streak when he went for the ball.

First club to be done for tanking, or bringing the game into disrepute for discussing it. First club to have had a top 5 and NGA player taken away from the ability to draft him. First club to lose a player for a legal tackle that accidentally caused a concussion, Chandler. First club to have a player miss effectively a third of that season for a sling tackle, ANB in the covid shortened season. First in most games played against the Cats in Geelong in the last 25 years. First club to have a player suspended indefinitely, without a decision or hearing, for 10 months, for using coke 4 days before a match day. First club to lose a player forever, from a bump that a few months later is deemed illegal. First club to have allegations that the Coach was drinking and gambling with the players. First club to have Directors be sued by the immediate past President. First club to have a goal reviewed and disallowed after the all clear for allegedly having the ball touching the hair of an opposition player without any vision of same. First club to have one player have multiple overturned goals on review, after the all clear by the goal and field umpire ANB. First VFL/AFL club Board actively seeking a merger with another club and and using proxies of non club fans. First club to have a player suspended for standing still, while an opposition player ran into him in a practice game concussing himself, May. I am sure you can all have some fun thinking of some other firsts.
