Yes, poorly is my word, as that is what I thought you were suggesting. You have explained that what you meant is that most think he will be a good player, but you think he will smash that perception. That can either mean that you think he will become a champion or a failure, both of which would be a smashing of the perception.

Are you assuming that everyone bar yourself rates him poorly?

Back at work today, now getting my Demonland fix.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BILLY STRETCH
Redleg replied to e25's topic in Melbourne Demons
I am not expecting much from Billy if we get him,but it just adds another nice touch to the rebuilding, with sons of former good players wanting to play with us. I am sick of the insults given us by players telling their managers that they wouldn't even consider us when leaving their club. As we hopefully climb up the ladder we will become a more desirable destination. -
Think he is talking about yours truly.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
Redleg replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Agree. Good post. -
Two of our biggest names, Roos and Hogan are expected back at training this week.
-
But I'll bet there are plenty of Brando style long old raincoats.

Change due at 5. Enjoy.

Just seems to me that here we are clearly seeing the dollar put before safety. You can include the spectators in that as well.
-
Don't want to get ahead of myself, but I honestly believe we could win 3 of those if we are not ravaged by injuries.
-
Don't know how they can play tennis in the heat. I think it is just plain dangerous and the officials have failed the players.

This doesn't look like an appropriate time to discuss bananas.

You must be absolutely knackered.

Am looking forward to reaching 500 pages, 10000 replies and 250000 views.Guinness book of records here we come.

Unbelievable, the Edelstens have split up. Who could possibly have imagined in their wildest dreams that the day after the Doc files for bankruptcy in the USA, the 30 year old Brynne would leave the 70 year old Doc. Leanne is in absolute shock and has dropped a banana daiquiri on her pink runners.

He is the Captain and was clearly acting like one.Happy to say I am once again his Sponsor. Hope he along with all the other players has a great year. Thanks for the report, they are good reading for people who can't get to training.

Biff is an expert in trading?

Not me. I am really enthusiastic about our future. We have some potential guns for the first time in ages and a new culture being taught by a Coach that the players respect and will play for.Bring on the season I want to see improvement. No more do I want to hear a player or manager refuse to even consider us as a destination.

Personally I really like Rohan Bail, but IMO he will struggle, with his disposal and concussion issues, to be in our side, if we are any good or hope to be.
-
He is a very rowdy room mate, I hardly got any sleep.

Yes the great Trevor Korn of the famous 54 jumper has been seen around here from time to time.

You are welcome. Happy to have a winner and share it.He should improve with the run, will get further and will probably get blinkers next start.
