ONE SMALL STEP FOR 2014 & ONE GIANT LEAP FOR DEMONKIND
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
Looking at Jay I am suprised that he is only 68kg's. Promising debut. -
I really liked Georgiou's game. Thought he slotted in perfectly. We have added that much needed pace in Jay and Dom, to complement Blease and even Kent. We will be a much more composed and competitive team, when our best are on the park. Thought the experience of Vince and Cross was just sensational, they don't waste possessions and are just so clean with the ball.

Sat near the Coaches box last night. After the game I congratulated Jackson who sat in the box and he acknowledged me as he walked past me. I also congratulated Roos, who was deep in concentration as he walked to the rooms and didn't even offer a sideways glance to me. I have to agree with others that these two guys are our best recruits in ages.

Yeah they played that young kid number 24 who is obviously hopeless. Our future is clearly with Byrnes.
-
I like your post.

I can't see us winning tonight unless the Tigers don't give it their all. What I want to see are the new personnel and some improvement especially in the midfield. A close game would be a good result.

Take a few banana lollies, whip up a banana smoothie and have a lie down, you will be right by game time.
-
That's what I am thinking.
-
Ah yes, the panorama.
-
I wonder if I got it right.

Colin Sylvia says hello.
-
Vince is the swap for the pick we got for Colin. Michie was secured for a low draft pick.
-
Looked at the Tigers squad. I count 14 of their best 22 picked to play.

I won't discuss a "bloody mary". I might start a discussion on the origin of drink names like, grasshopper, harvey wallbanger, brown cowboy, gin sling, martini, mint julep, to name just a few.
-
What is the origin of the shandy?

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
Redleg replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
Thought an interesting point in one of the articles recently was the club setting up a fund to deal with possible action from any players who suffer any health issues. -
Is he in the team?
-
Anyone besides me going to the game friday?
-
I am actually more concerned with not destroying the only ruckman we have ready to play at the moment.
-
I think everyone understands why this is happening. It is only disappointment in not seeing a good side on the park in our first game of a new season, even though it is a NAB challenge game.
-
Given the tall forwards and rucks we will have missing friday, I would play Georgiou down back for part of the game and throw Dunn forward and let Pedersen help in the ruck with young King. If Spencer plays about 50-60% of the game the other two can cover the balance in a manner of speaking. It sounds like we could have more than 10 players out. I think I predicted that to a few mates late last year, as being what normally happens with the Dees.
-
Now that could be the problem.

Ah to look at the magnificent artwork on the walls of the Gat, created by the inmates, with their bare hands, while in a drunken or drug induced stupour, on the filthy tiles and plaster. Artwork at its finest.
-
Maybe we pick a bunch of skilled smalls for the forward line and instruct the mids to kick it along the ground into the forward line.

Just to be fair to Clark, before he did his injury he was flying. We looked like we hit gold. The injury is no one's fault and no one was complaining about his contract when he was booting goals from everywhere. Hopefully he returns better than ever. Maybe if he does, his next contract with us will give something back, considering our return on his first. Chip if he leaves will not do it for money, as we will match it or go close. If he leaves it will be for the hope of a flag, sooner rather than later.
