I think that was Socrates.

Yes it was a bad one last night for Jimmy. I hope he is not dropped, as the best thing for him is gametime, just like Fitzy, who is now starting to feel at home in the side. The problem with Jimmy is, he has come with the high pick expectation and because of his hampered pre season and operation, he is struggling to find his best form. I think we will see a far improved Jimmy next year, barring injury.

Look forward to seeing Jimmy play next year after another pre season, under a new coach and further away from his hip operation. Under extremely difficult conditions and circumstances he played his best game for us. That tells me a lot about him. He will be a good player for us.

Broad is following in the family footsteps. His father chris broad, refused to leave the wicket after being given out, in a match in the mid eighties. Graham Gooch had to walk down the pitch and tell him to leave. Given the obvious dismissal, young Broad's performance was extremely poor. It is one thing on LBW's and disputed catches, to wait for the umpire, but when you know you are clearly out, you don't cheat. His performance was pathetic. Sadly it looks like the Poms will win this test, unless we bat brilliantly in the 2nd innings.
