Bombers got off lightly for the worst scandal ever in the game. Footy Manager gets 5 months for running the scheme and CC got 12 months, an absolute disgrace. Scheme found to have injected unknown drugs to players that may or may not be banned and/or harmful. In 2014 they go down a few places in round 1 and only lose round 2 draft pick. Pathetic. It pays to be a powerful club if you are going to do the wrong thing.

Another day, another media frenzy at Docklands. This negotiating penalty is getting a very ridiculous look to it.

Watch the pathetic side GWS will field in its last game of the year against GC. Guarantee better players will be rested. They want pick 1.

I think the Blues may be on the way down, as Judd, Scotland, Simpson, Waite and other experienced players will soon retire, or leave, like perhaps Betts.

No but I think he was selected at the sales by Prendergast.

I just watched a horse of mine run 20 lengths last in heavy 10 ground. I should ask him if he has ever played footy, I know where he could get a game.

To be honest, I am so numb from this season, I don't care.

We have the worst captains in the AFL. We have no standing at all in the game. We cop disgraceful umpiring often and do absolutely nothing about it.

I was actually stunned he started with I think, instead of a positive statement.

Love Hird's statement today. "I think the player's welfare is very important to us". He "thinks".

Sounds like the Essendon saga will end on Monday. I just hope they lose a couple of years of draft picks. If not the AFL are a joke.

I started something there. Meant to be a press conference now. Waiting with baited breath.

There should be plenty of humble pie around, as Essendon hasn't touched theirs.

Roos appeared to completely rule out the Lions job OTC tonight. Wasn't asked about us.

I remember CC telling me on draft night, at a club function, before the draft that we wouldn't take Talia, but instead would take Gysberts and then Tapscott. I recall WJ and me being stunned at the news. I actually remember nearly arguing with him, but because he was telling me what Prendergast was doing I was in no position, to argue, given my limited knowledge. If only I was the recruiting manager, I would have done better, only by using the info from Demonland and nothing else. At worst we would have Talia in our defence today and probably another midfielder instead of Gysberts or Tapscott. That is how bad Prendergast was. It also didn't help, that when I met him a couple of times, I found him to be an arrogant, rude, pr1ck.
