  1. 2, picture man and the Legend.
  2. Aha, I knew I should read books instead of comics.
  3. Don't follow the wardrobe bit.
  4. 3 like feeding a witch to the lions.
  5. I disagree here Steve. Posters I would think are not concerned about any "differences", but rather having a bloke on the list, who doesn't play. Personally I am not too fussed about today, as he may be doing some other training, but rather the fact that he is apparently still injured, after missing most of the season.
  6. Great report well done. 2 comments. First, re Salem: nothing about great foot skills should be described as in any way disgusting (joke) Second. I am pretty confident the FD would be regretting the 4 years given to Garland. A once good player, but no longer in our best 30.
  7. My thoughts too. Surely/possibly, to go on would be risking further injury, which could affect his post football life and career.
  8. Doesn't support include concern for his physical welfare and monetary compensation and then after footy career work assistance? We may be doing all of the above.
  9. Doesn't a player who retires as a result of a footy injury, get an extra payment from the AFL?
  10. Monday 4 what's that, just praise the Lord.
  11. I can see how hard it is to engender any enthusiasm for the draft, as it is pretty meaningless for us.
  12. It is amazing how our list has progressed to the point, where we are talking about guys coming in and some of our developing players and you struggle to fit them in into the 22. That is the starting point for continued success. We have not seen the best of Hunt, Oliver, Petracca, Brayshaw, Hogan, Oscar, Frost, Wagner, Gawn ( yes he will still learn and improve ), Weideman, Viney etc. Even Watts is getting better and Kent and VDB can add to their consistency. Guys like Smith, Hulett, Maynard, ANB, JKH and King are developing. We bring in Lewis and the two Bombers. We are 5 days away from a draft, with a couple of late picks and most of us, I assume, are pretty blase about it, unlike the past, where it was our hope and salvation. Exciting times lie ahead for our club.
  13. 5 as the ox walks slowly, so does the draft approach.
  14. 6.30 Fox Footy.
  15. And with out knowing much about him, he sounded a real prospect with his background and I am disappointed we missed out on him.
  16. And taller than his height, not to mention stronger than his strength, as well as as quicker than his pace.
  17. Thought his Casey Prelim was fantastic. He really showed something. Continued improvement could see him make it. Our next Hunt, though a bit different.
  18. 6 open the doors, I am out of this place.
  19. 7 and I'm feeling finey.
  20. You can tell me about it in about 12 days over a beer.
  21. So are there any other runners for our get together annual dinner on the 29th. So far only WJ, Old Dee, Beelzebub and me. It is all you can eat Japanese at $30 per head and scintillating Demons discussion. Let me know on here by next wednesday and I will book for all interested.
  22. Wednesday 9- placed on Tuesday because of how slow I am to put it up.
  23. No I wasn't shaw. Didn't want to sound like an ass.
  24. Incidentally, the reading could be low, like .01, one beer, no real impediment to driving, but still illegal for a P Plater.
