Do we? Remember the Saints game last year. Lost in the last 10 seconds. Players didn't go back behind the ball. Hit the front today, 3 minutes to play, did you notice our structure? We haven't learned, not one bit. Poor leadership from the box and on field, dumb footballers, dumb leaders, dumb Coaches.. Secondly, we pick poorly skilled players who panic and turn it over. We haven't learned at all.

Maybe it's all the turnovers. Last week 15 possies at 40% that is 6 effective possies. Doing it again today. In the warmup he missed from 20 out straight in front. Says it all.

100 metre penalty for a gift that he misses on a dry clear day. Sorry but unforgivable.

Poor info from SEN or good misinformation from Dockers.

Was the game played on a Friday?

The Petracca v McCartin debate reprised
Redleg replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
We deserve some luck in a pick or two, like Saints taking Paddy, as we have made our share of mistakes. Thankfully our current recruiter seems to know what he is doing. -
That would help us considerably.

It was bad, real bad. In the US they would have looked up at the video, but not here, the umps refuse to look up at the video as they don't want to admit a mistake and change their decision. Better to be wrong than admit a mistake and do the right thing.

Think we need to win this one! Pretty profound in the midst of all this side splitting mirth.
-
We seem to have gone into this game with a similar sized side to Freo. Leaving aside Sandi and the obvious jokes, the teams seem to mirror each other.

He still has the foot problem, just like Jaeger and Dion have the knee problems. Kreuzer is obviously playing through the difficulties.
-
I thought Weideman, Tyson and Hannan all played far worse than Oscar, but it is probably a horses for courses selection. I probably would have dropped Hannan and kept Oscar bringing in Frost which would have given us more options forward/ back and pinch hitting in the ruck. That is why I am not a selector.
-
Let me put it this way, Kreuzer was being hawked around with no takers. It was either Carlton, or his manager, with their consent. At the time he was struggling to play because of a foot injury.
-
They tried to trade him a year ago and got no takers because of the big salary and injury.
-
That is not what I really perceive.

Gerard Whately on 360 tonight said the same. He said it was just ridiculous that it was even a story.

Obviously our Doctor is not a lag.
-
They are not and that is why Taylor and Co will be having a good look at who they might release.

I can assure you he is not a smokie to the FD.

Why would ANB be dropped after his best game?

A Law unto Themselves. Say whatever they want. Lyons strike same as Jessie's, same action, however Lyons is considered careless, not intentional. His hand carelessly flew up of its own accord and hit Shiel on the jaw. "Gold Coast midfielder Jarryd Lyons can also accept a $1000 fine for striking Liam Shiels in Sunday's upset win at Metricon Stadium, with his hit graded careless conduct with low impact to the head." No wonder people love footy and hate the AFL.

Here is my earlier post. "I am waiting for the Doctor's report from the Crows to have the pretty ugly Paddy Ryder hit from behind to a Crow's jaw, declared no impact, or low impact and one week at worst. The Crows won't dob Ryder in. We now have a system where you can attempt to smash a bloke's head in, but if the Doctor says the victim is fine, the penalty is minor. That is a joke. "

Obviously the most important ingredient was missing, a scathing, untested, Doctor's Report. PS. The latest joke among the media guys is," it's only an offence if the Doctor gets involved."
-
Just as I predicted. Both on Ryder and Lyons. The MRP put our blokes out for longer suspensions, purely and simply on the back of an obviously scathing, Blues' Doctor's report. I thought Ryder's hit from behind and behind play was disgusting. I defy any reasonable explanation that this gutless, dangerous act, was worth only 1 week, because luckily he didn't hurt Knight more. In relation to the Hogan incident, it was an open hand, while his opponent was not only facing him, but pushing him backwards. The Doctor says Rowe was really sick as a result, yet the bloke plays in a wet, hard game the next week. What if the Doctor's report was wrong, it was never tested? The MRP like so much under the control of the AFL is a joke. PS. Don't pay holding the ball against me, as I only held it through 5 tackles and for 4 minutes.
