  1. If this is correct we don't need to get too excited. " Early in 2017, the out-of-contract Lever indicated he planned on signing another contract with the Crows, remaining in Adelaide despite his Victorian roots."
  2. Duly noted.
  3. Especially since Blues knocked back Crows first and second round picks last year . Dreaming!
  4. Averaged 12.7 disposals first year and that rose to 17.6 in a year with concussion issues last year and then 21 in round 1. Bit rough to compare him to Toumpas and to state he has stopped developing.
  5. Were you one of those that wanted Hunt delisted?
  6. Sorry Nasher, didn't see your post before I did mine.
  7. "Lucked out" is a strange description, when what is meant is that we got the luck. I have always thought that about this term.

    You think so?

Hope we bring our A game to the G sunday and no injuries.
  10. Today's style of football has actually conspired against Paddy. The FF must still leave the goalsquare and run, that is not Paddy's strong suit. Watch today's FF's, they cover more ground in a game than Plugger did in a season. Forward pressure, zones etc, have changed the landscape.
  11. And so say all of us. RIP Robbie, gone too soon, but never forgotten, by those who knew him,or simply loved watching him play the game, like no other before or since. For many years he was nearly the only reason I went to see the Dees play, when winning was more a fluke than an expectation. He did things on the footy field that with his skinny frame and poor eyesight he had no right to. A great footballer and an equally great guy.
  12. First welcome to the "I love Oliver " club. You have joined a number of us who joined the club after his first game with us. As for Prendergast he also picked Tom Mc, but his list of abject failures is very long and he caused catastrophic deficiencies in our playing list, which gave us no chance of improvement and set us back several years.

This is the game where we really need to smash Carlton and go on with it. It is the typical game we would lose in the past 10 years. PS. Sorry to throw in a footy post.

He is not only a clearance machine, he is tough both physically and mentally.

Well the context was usually poured from paper cups, or refilled beer cans. Charming. Most dangerous place at the ground was the visitors' race, where as Team Manager in 1979 under Big Carl, I was warned to not stand there watching the game.

Beg to differ, BBO, spit while disgusting, is possibly preferable to urine.
