  1. I would have thought that they are one club that don’t need him with Motlop, Owies, Durdin, Cunningham, Fogarty etc.
  2. I think mine was just pineapple juice.
  3. Have to admit rather sheepishly, I had my first pinacolada in many years last night and it was very disappointing. I remember it as a creamy drink and this one wasn’t that at all. On another note, what BS the AFL spins, with another example being the ambassadorial money they allow some clubs like the rumoured hundreds of thousands of dollars Dimma could be paid by the AFL to coach GC, outside the footy cap for “promoting Queensland footy”. What pure garbage. Just say you are giving them a handout, to get the coach you want them to have.
  4. Must admit, I am grateful to you guys who can observe structures during the game, as due to the fact that I am watching more games on TV than attending live, I am really only seeing passages of play and vision of the whole field is therefore restricted. I enjoy reading your comments on this aspect of our games.
  5. Yes that is possible, if not probable.
  6. On a more serious note, has anyone noticed that aperol spritz often tastes quite different, depending on the maker? PS: Mrs Redleg is quite partial to an expresso martini and I can tell you, from having sneaked a sip here and there, they are quite delicious.
  7. Hilarious mate! Always love the personal attacks on posters on DL.
  8. Suits me.
  9. I don’t think Pies, Lions and Power could care less.
  10. I have resigned myself to the likelihood he is going.
  11. I think we could be pretty confident, that the the transfer deal doesn’t say, Pies are off the hook if we trade Grundy. I don’t think the parties would have even envisaged a further trade.
  12. You are very perceptive.
  13. Yes. Last real chance before finals.
  14. AA again, even missing 4-5 games. Best ruck in AFL.
  15. Agree with self interest. Disagree with Buddy being the greatest superstar so far this century.
  16. Unfortunately can’t give names. There is a Foundation members event on August 9th and wonder if it might be announced then. That could be a catalyst for seeking more donations from Foundation members.
  17. It is selfish and I was thinking the very same thing. PS: selfish is always ok if it helps Dees. PPS: what a great player, he was a Dees fan as I recall. Well done Buddy.
  18. Yes.
  19. Unconfirmed rumour we have signed with Caulfield Racecourse.
  20. We develop him like we did with JVR.
  21. I laughed at the posts saying he couldn’t play forward and even more at the posts that said he was a poor kick for goal. However, we still need to draft another key forward and then we will have 4 key forwards we can use.
  22. Imo he plays again next week and continues to, unless he has a couple of absolute mares. Petty forward with JVR, Melksham and Fritta to come, is the way forward for the rest of the season. Tracc pops down occasionally, with smalls Chandler, Woey and ANB, who hopefully can reduce his turnovers.
  23. Watch the” Petty can’t play forward” posters jump on the bandwagon now. Max was sensational again and Viney is our bull. Maybe Binman is right too with the loading, as we certainly ran away from them in the last. Hopefully we can now run over teams, right through to the flag.
  24. They are punching it and kicking off the ground to get it forward, where they can run onto it. We should be doing the same as fast entry will win it.
