  1. Ball handling sh-thouse.
  2. Port game too. When you are poor at ball handling wet conditions can exacerbate it.
  3. You can see why we lost in one passage of play. The Docherty goal came from 4 Dees fumbling the ball and he picks it up and kicks the goal. We fumbled and mis kicked and mis handballed and dropped marks all night.
  4. We lost because of one thing, garbage ball handling and disposal. If we don’t bring in more ball skill we will suffer.
  5. Our ball handling lost that game for us and that is why I want to get more skilled young talent on the list. How many times did we fumble, handball to them and kick to them. Our disposal skill is just not good enough.
  6. I don’t know. We have problems with our key forwards now and I am unsure of what the makeup will be for the remaining games.
  7. Stephenson and Thomas are half hearted in the contest.
  8. I am not arguing, I am just saying if he wants to leave we won’t force him to stay.
  9. That’s ok, but how are the teams that never play at those grounds sacrificing on field for the greater good?
  10. Ask him.
  11. If Grundy asks to leave and we can do a good deal, we will accomodate him. That’s how we operate.
  12. So we can expect Kardinia Park and Tassie games to continue despite numbers dictating they shouldn’t.
  13. More deep forward to bring the ball to ground if unable to mark. I see Grundy doing the heavy work.
  14. I think Grundy will do most of the rucking tonight.
  15. What, one wet evening game will decide whether he stays or goes? I think whether he goes or stays is really up to him and it will be based on more than just tonight. I think given the current situation, we are happy to keep him and honour his contract.
  16. Seriously? You would go to a footy match you weren’t going to, because the Matilda’s are on the big screen, when they are on free to air TV. Don’t think so.
  17. Or perhaps he is rewriting history, or perhaps we were just more banged up than them. One side stopped after half time and it wasn’t the Lions. Max as an example could hardly move. Tracc had a broken bone in his leg. Clarry a fractured cheekbone. Ed fractured ribs. Brayshaw a leg injury. Jackson a destroyed commitment to his team mates. Lever I think had an injured ankle. Viney a leg injury and several more.
  18. Sad news RIP Jeff.
  19. Maybe and don’t think he would be looking to help out Dodoro.
  20. AFL Footy Manager role hasn’t been filled and Gale has just knocked it back.
  21. If the AFL want them to, they will get it.
  22. Why would they do that when North at least would give them 2 and more to get Reid and then they get Curtin and more.
  23. What’s this Binmans PA name?
  24. Agree. He has shown that with development he is a very good chance to make it. The only thing I haven’t really seen, because I am watching him on the VFL site, is his running ability.
