Probably wasn’t in our best 10 players in the GF either. Not concerned, others are stepping up and playing career best games or in career best form it’s not the same 2-3 players every week which is fantastic

Gotta love his work rate and endeavour , pretty fantastic career considering where he individually and the team have come from. He could and should have kicked two fantastic team goals one in each game , especially against the dogs it would have prob been the sealer and sent the fans into a frenzy

I agree. I do however think he’s replaceable. Feel like we are in the box seat, he’s coming of his best game for the season in a GF. Last year people would have taken next to nothing to be rid of him If he’s value goes up it means he’s must be having a blinder of a season, which can only good for us. If his value goes down as I said at the start he’s replaceable.

What difference does it make ? If u can’t go don’t go, too many people sooking. same people probably that complain about the Sunday 3pm fixtures. Another marquee fixture yes please

I don’t want to wind you up but not sure how “wowzers” or “Oliver scores” is any better !? Scores….. It’s not soccer. People will complain whoever is commentating maybe huddo and commetti the only exceptions. My personal fav is the 3AW call with Tim Lane, Bartel, Matthews and Lloyd bit of a nostalgic feeling with Lane calling for mine.

Firstly JJs mark wasn’t a free kick. A few years ago they made that rule - any hands in the back is a free kick but quickly scraped it. Not sure if the umpires finally woke up to the soft free kicks they had paid to the dogs all year or we were the ones who benefited from the “throwing of the whistle away on GF day”. Below is a list of free kicks that I expected would have been paid to the dogs based on games they played this season. - Bradshaw body spoil on schache -Pickett holding/in the back/late tackle on weightman lead up to Brayshaw goal - May hit on hanan - Viney aggressive tackle on McRae - Salem agressive tackle on McRae - rivers tackle on dale 19 points down just has his arm over his shoulder for a split second

A lot of hypotheticals but I could talk about it forever … Well he hit the post at the start of the 3rd , 3 goals that quarter would have seen him go damn close. Having said that Tracks Bomb from 60 that ironically bounced back over fritsch’s head could have easily bounced through for a goal and nobody was getting the norm from him then.

Was an amazing game, I reckon he was one goal and 1 disposal short of maybe a top 10 ever GF performance. So many nearly moments too. the shot that bounced backwards instead of going through in the first , the flying shot from 60m in the last or maybe instead of hitting up T-mac blaze away for glory.

The one after petracca kicks the goal and he looks likes he’s realised just maybe we can win it, he wants to cry happy tears but generally petrified all at the same time. I thought it just represents so many of us and the emotions we endured not only during the game but a lifetime of support.

I thought we got a good run from the umpires and that they umpired really well. Or maybe it was just they didn’t get their usual silver service.
