  1. Still 22 yrs old. 100Kg and 196cm. On his way to being one of the best full backs around.
  2. I think the Stephen May part of the equation is a little overlooked. I think he has been a ripper Full back and his best is in front of him. Brian lake switched to the Hawks much later in his career and won a Norm Smith.
  3. Luke Darcy would and has said anything he likes. I must admit I don't like him at all.
  4. Im thinking an early to mid 2nd rounder. Still pretty good.
  5. Those waiting for a quick answer should realise that many BIG trades end up waiting for other smaller ones to go through. 8.30pm on Wednesday, October 17 is the end of the trade period. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-10/when-is-the-2018-afl-trade-period
  6. If, as it seems quite possible; Sam Stynes is coming and Caro said she is embarrassed by Jim's statue It is Pert's first big social occasion and she burnt him recently Senior officials have lingering grievances Then It is quite reasonable and correct to mark a line in the sand. I find Caro rapidly becoming shrill, irrelevant and reactive this year. Ive been supportive of her in the past. If we change and invite her, the very next time she takes aim at us, she would happily say, "I've got a good relationship with the Melbourne Football Club. They invited me to their GF lunch".
  7. I guess the bottom line is that some see Hoges being able to lead, mark and goal as good as Josh Kennedy in the next year or so. I dont see that, but I can see how they have many similar attributes. Hogan who although has stats showing he is incredibly fast, just cant get on a fast lead and mark high and in front.
  8. I think the Umpires are getting the new Bose boo-cancelling headsets for this game.

That particular mouth has needed to be washed out before. :) But sounds like both sides have walked away. If we dont get a free agent we are still holding pretty much a royal flush in players going into next year, ruck withstanding. if Tyson and Kent are traded we are still well in the 2nd and 3rd round of the draft.
  10. Lets not get in front of ourselves.... but Dusty injured at Tiges training...
  11. If Jesse wants to stay, he stays. if he wants to go, Im pretty confident he and the club would look after each other.
  12. How many "close this threads" calls were on Jack Watts thread? It doesnt look to me as if Jesse is happy at MFC at all.At all. If he is as staunch as stated fine, but I dont believe it.
  13. Disclaimer: I thought Brayshaw was Gone earlier this year. Now I think that we need to look at future picks. We dont have a 1st rounder this year and although we have done well with later picks last year, Id like to shore up some talent. I think Hogan is worth about what Jake Lever is. If that is so, Id like it to be a 1st round this year and another one next year. I think Tyson, Bugg are later picks but Oscar should be worth a bit. All speculation of course. Love all the players but make hay while the sun shines.

If as it seems, that jumper punching will incur suspension, there needs to be a change to allow forwards and midfielders to get away from grabbing hands that stop them from leading and spreading. In Buggs case it was Heeney that was holding his jumper and that looked the same with Andy Brayshaw as Gaff was attempting to run into space. Im not sure of the answer but disallowing a player to get free needs to be looked at.

I agree actually. But I was laughing at the comments on the Instagram he put up of Fed cops waiting for Gaff at Tullamarine. What a [censored] I thought! Then it was true! He deserves it anyway I guess.

I feel sorry for Mark Stevens. People are so unkind.

There has been an over reaction to Gaff's stupid punch IMO. I can see the arc swinging back in a day or two to sympathy for the devil. It is a huge blot in an otherwise stellar career. I think 6 weeks and a genuine apology would see it over.

they could have red carded 6 GWS players against the Blues then. Still won by 90+ points.

    1. Need for his skills 2. Ability to get him. Daylight....

one of the options discussed a week or so ago is that the penalty includes at least one week against the team whom the incident happened against. i.e 6 weeks and a week when the Derby rolls around again.
  21. He has been the catalyst of our sudden leap in inside 50's. Add in Tom Mac's return and Lever grooving into the backline, he has started the party. Fantastic return to form that I had doubted.
  22. Watched the Goodbye to Ripponlea studios on the ABC last night. Excellent show. May have noticed a well known Demonlander in one of the shots.
  23. Bugg and Pederson to have great years. Hogan and Petracca to stay promising. Tom MacDonald to be match winner again at least twice. ANB to be 1st 22. I hope to see more short passes lace out inside the 50.
  24. Im happy. A future 1st round pick means we can trade into 15-18 and hand that over. Thats about what we may get for Jack Watts.
